Absolutely not doing a good job we've been winning domestically in spite if the way the club runs things, you'll not get MSM talking about it because they don't want us better run as we will dominate even more

The way we're run is an embarrassment, bunch of * amateurs running things

Except when he did exactly that two years ago when given a poor transfer window and the team struggled but he and the team found a way to win the double. Second time you came out with this pish.

No Honda, he wanted Celtic to be the best club it could be. He’s gone the Lawwell influenced board who are happy and content to be the best team in “the old firm” are still there. Save your ire for them.

I think every manager in the history of management want the club they coach to be the best it can be because that elevates their own career, and in Brendans case also ego considering he have a painting of himself on the wall in his house.

The only thing that matters here is that BR was completely useless for 8-9 months. Almost as useless as our garbage board.

He delivered success and progress in the Champions League prior to that. He wanted to build on that. Lawwell and the board didn’t and put a stop to it. He ended up infighting with them and it affected the players so he had to go and went himself. They didn’t sack him and weren’t going to. He went himself and he’s gone.

There is no excuse for fans to continue to be distracted by banging on about a manager who has left the building.

The enemy of the fans is still there in the board. The fans must focus on defeating Lawwell and his cronies. They’re drawing up battle lines. Banning the Green Brigade, manipulating the voting system in the upcoming AGM. They’re going to dig in and unlike the recently departed manager they won’t step aside. It’s going to get messy but if Lawwell and his pals are allowed to remain then the club is dead and not worth supporting any longer.

The people who set up Celtic at the end of the 19th century had vision and ambition and spirit. They wanted Celtic to represent its community and to strive to be the very best it can be as a football club. Lawwell and company don’t want that. They’re hoarding money in the coffers content with Celtic operating within itself as long as they’re a bit better than they’re immediate neighbours. They don’t represent what Celtic was intended to be by those who have gone before. They are imposters and must be rooted out. Unfortunately it looks like they’re going to cause a lot of havoc and strife and won’t go quietly. They will go though, otherwise the club is dead.

The only thing Rodgers could have done "better" was to have left sooner (to make his point a bit louder).

I don't think he held on too long, he's washed his hands of it all in plenty of time. But a well worded resignation made public about 3 games earlier may have been a better punch to the board.

You never want to see us play badly, but think he did deserve to make his point for a game or two - while still winning - then tell the board to * off.

Yet he didn't play trusty vs the diets, a very vital clash. He never even had osmand on the bench once. Wanted the best? He only wants the best for Rodgers. If that meant celtic burned to the ground he wouldn't care.

You’re being dramatic honda. He did achieve progress in the CL last season and he wanted to build on that. Lawwell and the rest as usual were not on the same page. It went sour and it went toxic and his judgment went with it. That’s why he had to go and it’s why he stepped aside. Don’t forget he stepped aside, they wouldn’t have sacked him. They would have left him there as long as possible to take as much flak as possible. Desmond the absentee landlord was fuming with him because when he resigned and he had to leave the golf sticks down and actually deal with something to do with Celtic.

It ended in a mess for Rodgers his judgement unraveled along with it.

    He’s gone.

The real problem at Celtic is still there and if Lawwell and his pals don’t step aside and take their bullshit way of doing things with them they’re going to cause unbelievable strife and damage.

The absolute shambles the board have left us in this season is unacceptable..Martin O'Neill back has steadied the playing side aa were on fumes .my take would anyone like Fergus McCann to come back and get the board sorted to a decent standard that would suit celtic ..even shorter term also ..* must Fergus think of these clowns running the club he saved

It is vital that lessons are learned. That the club is purged of Lawwell and co. and their horrendous way of operating the club, and that a new board of management is appointed with a work rate, ambition and mandate worthy of Celtic’s stature and history and to make the most of the club’s potential.

The only honourable path for Lawwell and co. is to step aside.
