Above anything else I don't think they have the legs or depth.

Probably hoping more than anything mind you!

Now, my writing off of the league after the defeat to Hearts looks silly. I suppose I had no idea MON would come, but yeah. I look a total * now.:56:

Aye you can see cracks are starting to appear for Hearts. Not even the fact they dropped points today, but by all accounts they were lucky to draw.

Huns have benefitted from a new manager bounce in the league, but Dundee and Kilmarnock are as easy a tie as they can get, still 5 clear of them and they still have to go to Pittodrie, Tynecastle, Celtic Park, Rugby Park and Tannadice.

Only if we invest wisely in January windows, the current squad needs some serious injection of uality and we must move out the. Deadwood.

Not really. It was always obvious that Hearts were going to drop points. What has changed is that we seem to have stopped doing so and that is down to what O'Neill and Maloney have done.

Think you can say the same for us though. We've had Kilmarnock and Falkirk at home for MON in the league. Probably be two of our easiest fixtures on paper in the league this season.

I'm far from convinced about us and Rangers are definitely still in the title race. We are carrying a serious injury list at present with at least 4 long terms. The uncertainty over the likes of Maeda, Yang and Hatate, Tounekti and Balikwisha away from a month in December....

Well doing well to have maintained the current gaps by the end of Jan I feel. We need some serious additions on January.

Yeah given how poor we are it be mental to suggest Rangers who are only 5 points behind now due to us dropping points regularly before Rodgers left. You can’t say that’s a big enough gap to rule them out if folk are predicting Hearts to fall away.

The thing for me is Hearts are starting to be a down turn in their good fortunes. They are over performing on xPTs and even just the luck they have carried in games and decisions falling their way.

I think we will. It’s a very closed shop towards Glasgow. If them lot won’t, then we will or vice versa.

We have 2 unbelievably tough away games after the break then 2 home games hearts away to Aberdeen us and Motherwell a think in 3 of the next 4 we should know more by the cup final but as it stands I still think we struggle to win title due to a variety of factors

It's a 2 horse race and hearts aren't one of them.

Instead of worrying about * Hearts our focus should be on the fact we are only 5pts ahead of a pish Huns team who didn't win a league game until the end of September.

Huns look more organised and capable of grinding out results under Rohl. That's where our competition will come from

I’m focusing less on Hearts and their big brother club of Satan Govan incarnation.

We seem to have put the recent domestic negativity on pitch behind us and just need to grind the results out..

We’ve every chance of winning this thing..so much more confident than I was a week or two ago when I’d basically accepted second place.

5 or 6 quality signings across every line of the team to pull it off

The amount of soft tissue injuries should she the medical department sacked

One hamstring is unfortunate. Three or four is a pattern of neglect

Erm... It's the medical department that FIX the injuries, not CAUSES them... It's surely the grounds staff, coaches or physio's that you should be blaming (in whatever spread) for the injuries picked up...

And as to the 6 quality signings... That's a whopping window, even in the summer, when everyone is looking at moving on... I'd be amazed if we got more than 3 quality signings in for a Christmas window when we've little or nothing to offer them except crap domestic games and managerial uncertainty...
