It all reels back to the fact that we are scouting guys who clearly don't suit our system. The whole thing need reviewing.
He's okay but most of us called exactly what type of player he would be from his highlights. We don't need that type of player here. Laughable really

Cannot comprehend that we chased this guys for two seasons.

Our transfer strategy might generate profit but in terms of finding the very best we can get, expensive or bargain, it's failing miserably. That team we played last night are clearly operating on a whole different level, from top to bottom.

Just makes it more frustrating when we have the resource to outspend them. If only we had a clued up transfer strategy and would back it properly

That team we were playing's most expensive signing ever cost the same as this fraud!

He might even be ok in his own right but come on..

5 mill, chased for ages and an attacking player. You're hoping for way more than he brings. There's no excitement and I get he may no be a bums off seat type player but still, some sort of bounce to start off with..

There's just nothing really to get behind whenever be comes on..

He is an attempt at Maeda’s replacement, stat wise off the ball, press, work rate wise we tried to match someone similar. Had some ok attacking wise stats but w thought Maeda was definitely leaving and we tried to get in what he brings off the ball.

Which is * stupid, we absolutely cannot get somebody who can bring what Maeda does in that respect, we can’t attempt a poor mimicry of it. And its ignoring that Maeda doesn’t bring just that alone, even before he went mental scoring 31 last season.

Everycunt when Maeda leaving prospect came up said he brings something irreplaceable. So don’t try and replace that bit that is close to impossible to do. Maeda LW last season if he left, then you go to a Jota. Doesn’t replace that off the ball Daizen, but he shafts him for other qualities and a different approach.

We’ve clearly tried to find a poor attempt of another Maeda

I've no hope for him tbh. His Celtic career could be finished before it's even began.

2 years we chased this guy, 2 * years.

I agree with everyone about him here but thought Thursday wasn’t a game that seals that like it seems to have been, think it showed where he has his uses and should have been on earlier.

But that is definitely not saying 2 years chasing, £5m outlay spent on him is anywhere near worth they ‘uses’

We’re so infuriating with how we spend. We usually don’t and when we do… * why?

Wouldn't drop Tounekti for him but he could play behind him As lcm or attacking left back.

Obviously has to show more but he looks like he knows he wasn't wanted, wrong attitude to have but might be off in January

How the * did we end up back with Rodgers and back with the same * happening as the last time with board signing players he didn't want

Board level someone should be sacked but hasn't been typical Celtic

He looks like a guy who won a raffle to play in a match there's nothing of quality to see and someone said on a Celtic podcast he's a midfielder and has played in midfield for a couple of clubs so why the * are we playing him on the wing .
I know the club use data to target players but old fashioned scouts are better and can check on a player every so often to see if there giving consistent performances.

Modern setups sign players all the time for managers. Rodgers in all honesty has a pish eye for talent, yet wants to be our scout aswel.. wild. His eyes so good he never even gave osmand a chance when we had nae strikers.

Aye I agree but we signed Rodgers knowing that and in that window just past sign 2 left sided wingers and no right wingers and we sold ours for £17m also our striker situation.

Why no board level sacking Rodgers wasn't only to blame.

Anyway hopefully get new manager in to run rule over the players to see what's good enough to keep and whats not.

By the way Who is our hidden manager that signs players for first team, who decided nygren Tounekti balikwishka were gonna play for Celtic first team ? As if it's not Rodgers whose accountable for them ?

Why bother paying a manager if the hidden manager that no one knows can buy the players for first team and obviously knows what we need and what formation and style were gonna play
Seems to me a waste of paying £3m a year for some * we don't need
