He's washed and probably 40k a week. Another masterstroke from the board.

Whoever let Taylor go for nothing when we spent about 5 years developing him needs a slap.

I'm pretty stunned there's been no improvement in his technical ability. He's still a panic merchant, barely ever looks calm and assured.

Really never saw this coming but * me he's awful.

Did he always just kick the ball out the park when under the slightest bit of pressure?

    Bit of both probably.

Tierney evidently pushed to come back here himself. And let's be honest the vast majority felt it was a risk worth taking.

Don't think it's a Rodgers specific thing. If Ange or MON were offered him on a free at 27/28 I think they do the same.

    Same with his Scotland performances.

As has been pointed out early on got caught twice up the pitch. After that, he stuck solidly to LB. Tounekti not helping him defend and Tierney not supporting him attacking

Was always his biggest weakness that. Early on this season it looked like something completely shifted away from his game, he’d find a good pass instead or if needing to lump, he’d smash it behind the defence into a dangerous area.

He looks severely unfit just now. Still dangerous as * when we work him up the pitch though, his delivery is still there.

His first couple of games he showed he still has that burst and power. I’m unsure if it’s something he only has in cameos now though, not when he’s needing to play week in and week out, for Arsenal and Scotland it was rare games inbetween a lot of him training, not the same wear and tear on the body that

He is obviously instructed not to play on 100% but Celtic is not a recovery home. Either he start to risk it like he did with Arsenal or he sit on the bench untill he is willing/instructed to do.

He sprinted like a wild animal when he played for Arsenal because that is what that club requires a player to do. So should we.

If he gets injured he gets injured. We have Sarracci and Inamura to cover.

Can’t imagine we’d ask a player to not be that arsed. Can’t imagine Tierney being ok with being asked that, nevermind going out and actively not trying as hard as he’d like to.

Arsenal were well trained, settled in the style they play, and that style has a lot more intent than BR’s has been. Against the Huns he came on with intent, directness and made the 3rd goal with real quality. Thursday was a disaster, he had no protection infront of him and he sat back to dig in. That let Tounekti hang around further forward, not defending. It was disjointed and pish but we’re going overboard on Tierney. He has the 2nd top for goals created this year, and we have not actually been using him well at all. He is a real danger, has real quality. We need to use that, get the ball to him high up the pitch. Something we just haven’t done.

Weneed to stop comparing to the KT that we sold, and use the quality that he

Must be a problem with ex-Arsenal players as both Ian Wright and Freddie Ljungberg had similar mobility problems when they signed for us.

Freddie’s pout in his mirror was outrageously mobile.

Broony talking about the only thing he’d talk about was he played for Arsenal is funny as *:56:

Why the * did they start him Thursday night? Surely it’s obvious that Sarrachi is streets ahead currently?

The only thing I can think of is that the feeling might be given Sarrachi's lack of game time before he came to Celtic that he is not ready yet for 3 games in a week. Hopefully he is back in the starting lineup come Sunday.

Sarrachi had missed training as well and was struggling by the time he was subbed against Rangers, he was pushing through it but could tell physically struggling.

Tierney done well when he came on, so Sarrachi got a rest to recover KT the nod. Both of them carrying a niggle and missing training to manage them to a game. Both have call ups dont they? Not happy with that. KT we should try and get pulled out, Sarrachi got captain last time out, hopefully we’re trying to sign him permanent if we try and get him pulled out the squadafter captaincy last time he’ll no be happy. Need to let him go and hope he doesnt * whatever niggle he has just now
