He knew as soon as he pulled up. Finally gets his opportunity and is out for months. Can see what it meant to him.

The way he pulled up at first it didn’t look a very bad one, hopefully a matter of weeks and not months. Poor boy was devastated

    He’ll bounce back

Get back to Glasgow and wait for the scan to see how bad it is now

He looked absolutely gutted. Going from effectively being out in the cold, to finally getting a chance and being heralded as a bright spark, to getting included in the Europa squad and making your European debut, only for it to end with you doing your hamstring - all in the space of a week-and-a-half. That would be hard on anyone, let alone a teenager.

I feel heart sorry for the lad. Hopefully it’s not an extended layoff.

Interim Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has provided an injury update after his side's 3-1 defeat to Midtjylland this evening.

Callum Osmand won a penalty for the visitors after coming on as a second-half substitute, although he appeared to pull his hamstring shortly after.

Speaking post-match, O'Neill said: "He [Osmand] was distraught.

"He's pulled a hamstring. He's very young; it's never happened to him before.

If everything works out well, he'll recover from that and then start again. And that's what I said to him... 'This is just a setback for you, it's not terminal, and you can fight back'.

"He'll be out for X number of weeks now."

Probably more gutted bcoz he realises that by then he's back theres likely gonna be a new manager in place and possibly a new striker signed in January which will cut his chances.

    Hopefully see him back soon

Based on what we’ve seen he’ll be fine if it’s not too bad an injury. It’s an absolutely must we sign a striker in January anyway but he’ll see plenty game time assuming he stays fit. He looks quality.

Kind of expected to get beat tonight but his injury was a proper kick in the stones.

Absolutely gutted for the boy. He must have been on some high after the game against the huns, then to be drafted in to the squad for Europe, and getting his chance in the 2nd half. Then to end up like this is just horrific for him.

The way he pulled up at first I don’t think it’s a proper bad one, more weeks than months with an international break in that. Bad timing for him, no wonder he was devastated

One of the few things to be excited about so far this season and he gets crocked. Gutted.

Gutted… thought he was one of the only players who looked remotely dangerous

Tough on him as it was another good showing. Probably not a bad time to do it as we just have 1 game coming up on next 20 odd days. Hopefully lessons will be learned and he won't be rushed back like AJ was.

Found it very disturbing and strange how not one single Celtic player walked over to him when he got injured.
