There is no formal age to settling down, everyone is different, I am 36, no kids, never had a mortgage, been with my present burd for 5 months, i do not want kids, niether does the burd, traveled and worked all over the world for the last ten years and will soon be doing the same again next year when i have some cash together with the burd hopefully, time is to prescious to stay in the same place with the same faces, with the same scenery, and the same job. All my mates are married with weans etc. thats not for me maybe sometime in the future i will settle down.

I think around 30 is a perfect age to settle down or possibly late 20's. You get to enjoy yourself and are still quite young when you do get things together. Best of both worlds, really.
