Well, that'll be nothing compared to what will happen if Brendan isn't backed. As I said, it's convenient timing, as the manager has went public of not being happy.

Anything to distract from their lack of ambition.

 

Personally thought they did well with that, that day. Can see why "the club" didn't like it but * them. Sure it made it a difficult day for the TV cameras and producers.

They'd been told no tiffo too if I remember correctly and we got those stupid wee flags. Of course there's going to be a reaction.

Hopefully lots of banners around the stadium questioning the clubs recruitment policy!

Anyone get caught up in the needless daft lines of stewards in the stadium last night ? Was walking round to get a mate on the concourse before kick off and was told I couldn't get through to the next section the stewards couldn't give me a reason as to why and just kept asking to see my ticket. Ended up they wouldnt let me through so I had to just go out and shuffle along the seats to get to where I was going.

 

Was this near the standing section?
Seemingly fenced it off in the concourse to stop overcrowding in that area

Nah it was where the Celtic end joins on to the North stand. Seen on twitter it was all around the stadium though

Supposedly trying to stop people moving about the stadium to sit next to their mates. No idea what made it suddenly become something they are worried about.

Celtic ultras group, the Green Brigade, have presented a 'clear mandate' for a new standing section at Parkhead.


It comes shortly after the results of a fan survey carried out by the Scottish Premiership champions last year were released.


In a statement on X, the Green Brigade set out their ideas: "At least 60% of respondents who attend games would be interested in moving into a Standing Section," the group wrote.

"It is unclear if this percentage includes respondents already in the Standing Section therefore the percentage of fans who want to be in a Standing Section is potentially greate
"Broken down per stand, the Jock Stein Lower & Upper stands, the Lisbon Lions Upper and Lower stands, and the North Stand Lower stand all returned a majority of interest in being in a Standing Section - although the 'Yes' vote was split between 'Yes' and 'Already in Standing'.


"Broken down to Season Ticket holders, a majority of 52% of respondents are either interested in moving into a Standing Section or are already in it.

"Again, the 'Yes' vote has been split presenting a false narrow majority for 'No'.

"Crucially, the idea of being moved to facilitate a new Standing Section isn't as unpopular as some predicted.

"Despite the split vote once again, there is another majority of 59% open to either being moved to facilitate a Standing Section or remain in place as part of one.

"These results present a clear mandate from Celtic supporters to introduce a new Standing Section and this must be respected.

"The club must now work with supporters to ensure that the new Standing Section is fit for purpose for current and future generations."
