I suspect we will here from Brendan during the international break. It would be the right move too. If he comments now it just brings more distraction to the team.

Think Brendan realises himself we all want to hear his side but if he times it wrong, it won't be received well.

Give us during the international break and it'll be seen as a more appropriate time.

Compare that scenario to dermotts completely unprofessional and untruthal statement. Be night and day

I think its clear that despite the trophies he won here - he was never a good fit for the club. The structure of the club didnt work for him and the recruitment model didnt work for him. Having managed in the premier league with all the riches there I think he found it too hard to acclimatise to the structure here.

I genuinely think he came back to mend fences, do three years and move on. But the glimpse at the Champions League knockouts and the subsequent really dysfunctional transfer window was too much for him.

Many will point to the Rodgers effect of things going downhill by season 3. And I think he has to share in the blame for that. But I also wonder the way this club is structured and how the board operate if any manager is capable of working here successfully for beyond a 3 year cycle. Either the recruitment fails at being able to refresh the team adequately or the manager will grow frustrated at the clubs lack of ambition.

Couple of weeks ago I was desperate to hear from Rodgers, now I really hope we dont.

The whole episode feels like a lesson in how negative emotion clouds judgement. Too many bad football decisions made because of damaged egos and point scoring. The change in mood music has been stark because we have a manager excited to be there and because he has made some simple team changes.

Given the more optimistic vibe, I really dont want to hear about Rodger's woes. Doesnt help anyone. I still like the guy and have a ton of respect for him, but its best for everyone if he slips off quietly.

I'd take Moyes at Celtic I think he gets a bad rep based off his stint at Man U

Sounds like pish to me, Moyes has a lot of credit in the bank there. And they actually play quite an expensive game.
