If Ralstins is a handball then why do some teams have a man lying down behind a wall for a FK?

I tell you why because it’s not a * handball.

Im sure someone has mentioned it but I haven’t saw it mentioned. Forrest’s tackle which would have left us with a 3 on 2 situation I’m sure. MON was furious.

For me, trying to be objective/neutral on big calls
    • Offside goal - thought he was offside at the time, although it's tight I still think he's a baw hair offside - we'd be screaming for it if other way
    • Asgard - clear as day red, not deliberate but dangerous with high impact
    • Trusty - Red card, ball was clearly in keepers hands, Trusty stops then put his foot in towards ball and makes contact with head with boot which can only be dangerous as it's his head (it was very low impact - definitely not raking any studs across his face either!)
    • Ralston - penalty but not a 2nd yellow. He is shoved but also dives full length to block ball and it hits his elbow before he's on the ground. Ball likely goes in net if not hitting elbow, so a penalty.
    • Forrest foul - worst decision of the game, clearly not a foul and denies us a clear goal scoring opportunity
    • Kenny tackle - Borderline red. Studs up, with force but impact very low/pitch level. One that VAR doesn't overturn the ref either way. For me it's a red card.
    • Hattate barge - Penalty. clearly takes him out to prevent Reo getting to ball.
The ref did have a mare overall - missed lots of fouls/cards and also gave many unnecessary fouls and cards.
Too many to mention - but we certainly didn't get much of the close calls in general play.
Generally a very poor refereeing performance.

The SMSM know about all these incidents that went against us. The they are highlighting the Trusty one for them as they think it will make them look like they the victims.

Never touched it on Ref Watch. Does anyone else find all this fallout from the Trusty Yellow hilarious? Yes it could have been given as a red if they felt there was real intent and malice but I think Trusty was just trying to be cute. A bit stupid. It's so funny that there focussing on one thing in the whole match. They were crap end of. We really had the edge in the game first half and in extra time. I just find all their whining fans and the hun pundits screaming the heebijeebies so funny :56::56::56::56::56:

What about the studs up lunge on Kenny?

For me that should have been a red when you saw it again. He tackled with two feet there too, studs up top of foot onto ankle, and scissor motion with his other leg.

Ralston penalty just isn’t a penalty, this narrative of diving is nonsense he trips over Miovski’s feet, as for that being a goal if he doesn’t do that. The shots on target but there’s every chance Schmeichel saves it, it’s heading pretty central of the goal.

Ralston is fouled but he definitely launches into a dive to block. Seen it said somewhere if his arm was planted it wouldn't have been a pen as supporting. Common sense should say its not a penalty.

    Offside Goal
I thought it was on at the time https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4r3OPtTCjdw
Ralston if he put his arm to the ground to support himself, and the ball hit his arm then the law says no penalty,I don't really see the difference,he just choose not to break his fall with his arm and was punished for trying to keep his arms in
Trusty, if that was red then this is a stone wall red https://www.youtube.com/shorts/YtUnF7qIELY

He's a terrible referee. To be fair to the guy, the guy in charge of his professional development is Willie Collum. What chance did he have? :giggle1:

I still think the problem is poor refereeing rather than an agenda.

Do I think decisions are made to make games more even or entertaining? Yes.

Send that to the SFA and demand a * explanation. Nothing more than blatant cheating.

I think it was definitely onside rewatching it, VAR have definitely used an early frame or two or three to make Maeda appear off.

No question that assault by Cornelius was a straight red card. Was even worse then the red they did get IMHO.
