You’ve got the Viccy Bar, Queens Park Cafe and Neesons all on that stretch of Viccy Road which are the biggest Celtic shops in the south side.

Who made them so brazen to walk up like that. Those pubs are full of old fella Celtic boys. Plus you’ve got the Romanians and the travellers who won’t take too kindly to them either. Waking up the locals on a Sunday morning like that should be a jail sentence in itself

Watched the normal 90 in Prague Airport on my phone missed the prime extra time hun skelping while the plane was taking off.

Rewatched it in full today.

My key *positive* takeaways

Kenny was monstrous in the 1st half especially bullied their defence always seen something in him just keep feeding him games and reassess in January.

Much better dig from Engels here’s hoping he can kick on from here as he has all the attributes to be a great player in this side just needs to get to grips with the intensity in this game.

But the main thing that pleased me was the aggression not only on the ball but off it seems MON has got these players back into the mindset of hating these * we’ve been sorely missing that for at least a couple of years

 

Cornelius should have been off for his studs up tackle on Kenny in the first half too. That was even worse then the one Aasgard got a red for IMHO.

 

He most likely will be sold in January but equally you know you can count on him to put in 100% into every game until then.

 

I know it's a muggy move but just a bit daft the way he was standing there infront of them for me..

 

Thought we were excellent yesterday. That first half in particular we were superb. Reality is as much as he has been a laughing stock with so many howlers over the past couple of seasons Butland was superb for the zombies yesterday. If it wasn't for a string of excellent saves from him yesterday that was a thumping. So many good performances all over the park from us. Sarrachi was excellent as well as Scales inside of him. Trusty was immense also, just outstanding. Hopefully thats him now really taking this chance to show us he can be a big player for us. McGregor and Engels dominated the middle an area where we have been so poor in recent derbies and that was crucial for us. Schmeichel in goals was very good when needed and Johnny Kenny up front continues to improve. Osmand, Tierney and Forrest all did well off the bench and made key contributions as well. The ref was appalling and the idea that he was biased in our favour is risible. Cornelius without a doubt should have been given a red for his assault on Kenny as well as Aasgard getting a red for his assault on Ralston.

 

From what I seen it was a bloke shouting Free Palestine. No guarantee it's a Celtic fan albeit highly likely if that fact is true.

That said, there's no evidence for that beyond rogue twitter accounts claiming it to be. Could just be a * up bloke and the Huns have took the * to look the big man.

I think if it was a Celtic fan there'd have been more than one of them responding to him.

 

I thought the back line were amazing yesterday.

Trusty and Scales were formidable. With every game it becomes glaringly obvious how mental it was that Rodgers was choosing Murray over Trusty. Absolutely mental decision. Scales' tackle against Gassama - hang it in the Louvre.

Ralston did well and took a sore yin for it. A penalty against that was never a penalty.

Sarrachi was everything you expect from a South American full back.

And Schmeichel was colosal. That was the Schmeichel we all know.

We gave away 3 big chances but they never really looked like scoring apart from being gifted a penalty to help them out.

 

I just felt before it we had more players who cared more.. and a managerial team who had been through it.

 

It’s that last bit for me too. A few years ago our quality was far superior to theirs so aggression was not as much of a priority. That’s has gone so it’s even more important now. Our Japanese players are too nice. But fair * to daizen coz he looked like he hated that mob yesterday. That’s what we should be all the time against that muck. Should never be anything less and I think MON defo brought back our bite that had been sadly missin the past 4/5 games against them.
