Midtjylland v Celtic Thursday November 6th kick off 5:45 TNT sports 2

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by Notorious, Nov 2, 2025 at 5:31 PM.

  1. Same team as yesterday if they’re not knackered

  2. The only positive is they play in a top of the table clash tonight so will have played a day after us.

On talking about form their front 3 and centre midfield are very strong and seem to have clicked since playing Hibs earlier in the season.

He has played on the right for Scotland a few times, with Robertson on the left.

Bernardo wasn't on the bench yesterday but if fit I'd bring him in.. must be worth trying Tounekti on the right.

    Schmeichel
    Ralston Trusty Scales Saracchi
    Bernardo McGregor
    Tounekti Hatate Balikwisha
    Kenny

I’d drop Hatate out of that and bring in Engels if he’s fit, also swap Maeda for Balikwisha

Im fearful of putting too much on Maeda so soon after his injury.

  7. I think with yesterdays game going to extra time and us not having much space for mistakes in the league now I wouldn't mind seeing a few changes.

I guess we have the International Break after Killie which helps with resting some.

Honestly don't really care about the Europa. Given the turmoil I just want to focus on the league.

Cant wait for this personally. Mon back in Europe. Win or lose he will walk away my hero. Rest for the league is people with no balls. No heart. No fight. I want to compete and win everything.

  13. I didn't care about this but momentum or certainly a good showing is important for the feelgood factor we're carrying now..

  14. The MON and Maloney feel good factor will have me tuning in with interest again to see how the emerging game plans are going with Midtylland, tough game, but we have belief and momentum going for us, and players all falling over themselves to get back into the team. Should be a good watch, whatever the outcome, not too assed either way now, was getting scunnered with the petty way Rodgers was chucking everything away for us, in his vicious vendetta with the club. Pretty sure we wouldn't have won that game yesterday with Rodgers, with his 4-3-3 jazz and blue eyed boys in the team.

  15. For sure hopefully Bernardo is fit. We need to rotate a bit given how much we put into yesterday and with the weekend league game in mind.

  16. I'm sure he's played there for Scotland

  17. Am I wrong in thinking that if he registered as a home-grown or home-developed player he's on the books anyway, or gets straight in? It's the very reason they brought all those quotas in

He's not eligible for b list.

For the knockouts we can only swap 3 players too. You'd imagine one will be Jota.

  19. Currently 1-0 down at home to AFG.

Their confidence will be shot if they lose this one. AFG already top and will go 5 clear with a win here.

Would be a really good result for us.

Yeah Strachan played him there because he was the best right back and apparently put no fuss up about Robertson playing left before him.
