They 100% used the wrong frame for the one with the lines drawn. When the freekick is taken to Nygren he takes a touch then plays the ball to Maeda the graphic they show is when Nygren is taking the touch not playing the ball. By that point Maeda has come back and the defender has dropped back sticking his back leg deeper and playing Maeda on side.

Nygren has never kicked the ball in the frame they stopped it, this one he done the opposite let it run on a bit to make it offside.

    This is a big problem.

And it never ever gets brought up, it’s treated as infallible and done by the computer. It’s done by the VAR refs, they select when and where the lines go, it’s not the automated system.

He's also not really left the leg in- looks to me like the (minimal) contact only comes because he's trying to get his leg out of the way! The ball's there to be won, Butland smothers and Trusty tries to hurdle him but doesn't have enough time, hence the studs just brushing the top of the head rather than catching him flush in the face.

Correct never seen a red unless it’s a stamp or with reckless force …. Only reason they are asking for red is cause their man was sent off …. If their player isn’t sent off they wouldn’t even be talking about it

One of the most shocking refs ever yesterday. Blatant cheating

While its great that despite the cheating we still went through and got the result, it sadly doesn't always work like that. The 2022 semi final is an example.
BBC doing a hatchet job on us already, in sure the Hun and the record will be doing the same.

The amount of times a Hun just ran into one of our players and got a free kick for it is a tactic they know they get fouls for and just repeatedly do it

Same every team that play us. Throw yourself to the ground and you'll get a foul if you need to relieve some pressure.

Aye and it shows the bias of the refs that it's done so regularly

We 100% got away with one, Trusty. The penalty was never a penalty and again VAR looked at it and couldn’t get it right. As concerning as the blatant mistakes it’s the intentional “mistakes” that really need highlighted. The number of times we took a quick free kick, and as a result were in a great attacking position then he called it back was unbelievable (well not unbelievable actually).

The offside goal looks like a shocker looks like they've used the wrong frame.

Assault on Kenny is a straight red

Attempt of murder on Ralston, straight red

    Goal chalked off was onside

Penalty was free kick for Celtic

Osmand should have got a penalty

And 3 handallls we never got a replay on

Trusty "kick" was 50/50 for me. Not really much gontact

    But Aye rangers got shafted.

Said it in the game threat at the time. I bet they go back or forward a frame to get whatever decision they want.

Love the huns screaming cheated but forget about the Ralston penalty which is an utter joke of a decision. Genuinely in the game od football as whole, it is up there with the Iheanacho handball. Also IMO they very conveniently forget the yellow Cornelius got for a late slide tackle where the studs go right through the planted ankle and then his trailing leg also is studs up and goes through the Celtic player.

Our offside goal was never offside either.

    * deluded morons

Hilarious seeing huns claiming they were cheated.

The Trusty incident was naive beyond belief and he was lucky…but it’s hardly the blatant red card they’re claiming.

Not sure what other decision went against them.

The “offside” goal was farcical. In what world is that offside?

Their penalty was one of the worst decisions you’ll ever see. * is Ralston supposed to do?

Cornelius should have been given a straight red for trying to snap Kenny’s ankle.

The ref spent the first 15/20 mins of the second half booking a Celtic player every time one of the huns fell to the ground.

And that’s not forgetting numerous blatant fouls not punished for the huns, and a couple of corners given to them when it clearly hit their player last.

Also, not necessarily saying it was deliberate…but it felt like Nick Walsh was constantly getting in the way of the players. Second half in particular he was forever blocking the line of sight for players when they were trying to pass the ball out wide.

Didn't think the ref was too bad yesterday. 2 big decisions - one went for us and one against. The Trusty kick was a 50/50 that went our way but the pen was 10/90 not a pen so definitely went their way.
The Maeda kick after the ref got in the way would have been a very soft red. There was one in the first half when their player went into our players ankle/foot with force and his studs up that was more of a red but not mentioned anywhere. I think it was the first yellow given in the game. Also, handball in the box from Balikwisha's cross near the end not mentioned.
It's the pundits, smsm and TV editors who decide what to show at h/t and f/t that * me off more. They just ignore all decisions they get while highlighting in great detail any wee decision that might have gone our way.

That Cornelius one is the one that gets me, if that were us, there would have been a longer VAR check and a red given. We've seen so often now, that tackle get a red card.

But nah, just yellow, no questioning, no VAR. Just get on with it
