He was knackered late on and struggled but I thought he deserved MOTM.

Don't see why else he would have done it. You're talking about a decision you have milliseconds to decide on, he must have felt there was a chance the ball was coming back out. If he meant to do harm he would have went straight in with force initially.

Should have kicked the head of his shoulders into the top corner

Didn't think he was MOTM, but it was such a good TEAM performance, it's hard to single out one player, but if I had to pick one it would be Scales for me.

However Trusty was very good, but must be told NEVER to give the ref an unessesary descion to make.

If he'd got a red yesterday, I think most Celtic fans would have blamed him rather than the ref.

Aye, considering the lack of game time he has had, it was an amazing performance really..

He was much more aggressive and quicker into the tackle, even than CCV has been lately.

I think this too, the way Butland came out it looked like he could spill it. It's not really his nature to be fair.

Played well, was is eager to get forward far more than typical CB, likely looking to score and clumsy.

Superb yesterday. Probably his best performance since Atalanta away last season in the champions league. His confidence must be through the roof after that so hopefully thats him onto a real run of form now.

I thought it added to the hilarity that he got MOTM just to get it up them. A true tim made the call :50:

See as daft as it was it was good to see us not afraid to mix it about with them for a change. In the past we’ve been so soft particularly against that * and end up just getting bullied but the entire team were right up for that yesterday and were willing to put it to them for a change.

It's a good point and i always think in these games regardless if yer the better team or not, you always have to win the physical battle.

That wee gimp Raskin has been allowed to stroll about the park doing whatever he liked and kicking whoever he liked far too often but he got absolutely * bitched yesterday. Loved seeing Maeda and Ralston giving it to him and Diomande at the end yesterday cause that’s easily the 2 worst * they have in their side.

There was definitely a desire to win that game that hasn’t been there in the past and it showed.

He’s so much better when he defends on the front foot, feel like he’s always trying to be clever against the lower level players when he should just be aggressive against everyone because he’s very hard to play against when he’s like that.

The decision not to play him at Tynecastle looks more bizarre everytime he plays. He has actually been superb, through preseason and when he has been called on this year.

Aye exactly. First time we've been like that against them for years and they can't take it and are greeting.

What I loved about Sunday was the way all our players faced up to the huns when Ralston got booted. There were other instances in the game when they got right into the hun faces but the Ralston one really stood out. Haven't seen that in years from our players
