Hes come in and given the place a lift. Things had gone stale under Rodgers.

Id be wary of considering him beyond a caretaker though. We have got a bounce under him and his presence has managed to connect with the support. Whether that that kind of thing can last in the medium to longer term Im not so sure. Feels like holding the torch on a temporary basis and passing it on would be perfect.

Would absolutely hate for him to stay on too long or to get given the job full time and things to go pear shaped.

Glad he’s is here short term , and he has got us back in winning but don’t want him or Maloney anywhere near the job full time , yes we got the result but for 30minutes of the second half 10’man rangers looked the better team. , and to be honest this is a brutal rangers team

it’s needs to be someone with fresh ideas and a fresh input that will bring in fresh talent

if there’s a job for O’Neill higher up I would be all for it, even if it’s to e d of the season then we will just be back to square one when he goes and in all honesty I don’t think he really wants it

A true legend who bleeds Celtic. He's a story for the ages and will never be forgotten in the annals of the clubs history. I will never forget the MON years and for him to step up during the biggest crisis since Fergus saved the club is immense. I feel it's been our greatest privilege to have had him. A little guy who came in and went on to become a giant in our eyes. I wouldn't be averse to having him stay on for the final........I have a feeling that he will have earned it.

Apparently Maloney and Fotheringham are excellent coaches with Martin as the man manager but whilst I would love him to stay he is 73 and to answer the call and guide us through until the new guy is ready is all we can ask of him!

Hope that Martin is still in charge for the cup final, would be incredible for him if we do win the cup.

Which is what is making me think would we be daft not to have a serious discussion with him...even till the end of the season with full focus on the league.

I really, really love the man.

The thing is, we're a very unique club. I hate to band us in with the huns, but like them, we're unlike many others in terms of the expectations, what's required etc. From the outside it seems easy to manage us, but like your Bocas, Rivers, Galatasarays, Ajaxs and so on, it takes this mix of leadership, winning mentality, and total charisma. MON has that, and it's not easy to find. I would absolutely love to have him at the club beyond this spell, in whatever capacity. He makes me proud to be a Celtic man.

Well it depends on what is available. Say Kieran McKenna wants the job now and is our number one choice then go and appoint him. But then say Ange gave a commitment that he would be happy to come back at the end of the season, then we could maybe ask MON to stay on? All depends on the circumstances. Either way he needs to stay on in some capacity, maybe as a Director of Football with McKenna as manager. Someone for McKenna to lean on?

I think giving him the job until next summer is a no brainer and see where the land lies when the merry go round stops.

MON has done wonderfully well since coming in, along with Sean Maloney. Steadied the ship, got the players back onside, three wins on the trot, got us into the Cup Final, and buried the bitter memory of the self sabotaging Rodgers. I would be very happy to see both him and Maloney stay on in some capacity, if that is what they want. But I still would prefer a young progressive management team coming in during the International Break, that could help restructure and modernise the Club, take us to back to greater heights in Europe and at the same time retain our dominance on the home front.

I don't think we should allow our sentiments to cloud our judgement on this absolute necessity for Celtic.

Made sure we went right at them and battled for everything..

Bullied them first half. Really ran all over them for the most part and they were like rabbits in headlights..

Loved seeing that more than anything. Been sick of seeing diddy, loser, nobodies lording it over us in challenges, even whilst getting beat for far too long in these games..

No anymore. Hopefully stays that way..

The boost he’s brought, the impact in play and the togetherness he’s immediately brought with the fans and team I’m starting to think we can’t afford to not have him for the season at least.

Him leaving after how much everyone from stands to the pitch has brought, a new manager mid season trying to get to grips with the expectations at us and Scottish football following him.

Hard to think him going wouldn’t result in it going * up.

Pretty simply that all comes down to who's replacing him.
