He has the heart for games like these. Solid defensively, joke of a decision for the penalty and looks a lot more comfortable in this system when he can look for runners down the channel.

The yellow card be got was very soft and he a tight rope to walk there on. They put Gassama over there who tried to buy it off him but he didn't take the bait.

Was actually an incredible bit of defending, proper stuck his body on the line to block the shot and got * over by that cheating hun rat. I’m just amazed he never sent him off tbh.

I’ve been very critical of him but he was really good today.

Top performance today. Showed what he brings to the team, grit and aggression, pushes those around him on, and when given the opportunity can play some telling passes.
