    Defo not mon/ maloney.
They've steadied the ship and got results but we need to move forward with younger progressive managers.

Not against this at this point. It's clear he and his staff are creating something special.

Disagree, most modern progressive managers only know how to play boring possession football. Give MON until December and see how it pans out.

Is he though? hes said openly that he hid away from life for a long time, said that a few days back infact.
Also said he's feeling younger in himself, you can see his excitement and joy. Happiness is a * of an addiction. His kids will 100% be in his ear.

Leave them in place for now anyway. Maloney will be part of the set up for a while, maybe even as 1st team coach.

No point in rushing this. Wait and get the right man. No need to rush someone through because they are available. The next manager needs to be backed financially so let’s get it right not get it quick

Don't want MON and Maloney for the whole season, not do I want too much fannying around getting a new manager in, but I would be a bit disappointed if Martin didn't get to the cup final now. That was a * of a performance today and it would be unbelievable to see him lifting a trophy again.

We may as well get it right, Martin and Maloney doing brilliant. Just want a manager that will get us playing quick energetic football like first half today then build the squad again.

We can take our time to get the right person in anyway.
Still unsure would I be happy with O’Neill and Maloney to the end of the season but very happy with the last 2 games.

Give them till Christmas at least. None of the names are inspiring me, and I honestly believe nothing will have a galvanising affect on the support like keeping MON/Maloney around will.

I’d happily give MON and Maloney until the end of the season if it meant getting the right long-term option in then.

The complication is January though. We clearly need to improve the squad, so there’s an argument for getting the new guy in before then so he can sign his own targets.

Don't know if it's been commented on in this thread but a few articles are suggesting we have talked to Lee Carsley. Would be a big gamble but he has done well with England u21s.

MON & Maloney have definitely lifted the squad and got us playing more direct, with pace and aggression.

They are proving to be quite a good dynamic and I think we’d be stupid to rush the selection process when they are doing such a good job.

The next appointment is likely going to oversee a huge squad rebuild (CCV, Hatate, Maeda all be away in the summer and Schmeichel retired). We need to get it right so no harm in being thorough with the process.

I must admit though, the nostalgia is hitting different with MON on the touchline and I’d love to see more of it. If only he was 63!
