Also, while I’d be more than happy with Hayen, he lost the title last season to USG. They’re the biggest team in the league by quite a distance and have the biggest budget. I just think when you compare him with Knutsen, given what we need as a club, Knutsen is the man to come in and change the way the club manages its footballing department. Especially as Desmond wants the footballing department to be run by the manager.

The only candidate that could replicate this today in theory is Knutsen. So, if we aren't going to get him, better stick with MON.

I think you have Maloney who's experience is not to disimilar to Rohl and I think he will be at the club in some form or another.

Ambassador or something small might suit that doesn't demand he relocate might work.

Anything more than that he'd knock back. He happy in retirement and doing the odd pundit gig to bank a few shillings.
