Taylor is not quicker than KT. He's not even quicker than this half-fit imitation of KT we currently have playing at LB. I agree that Taylor's skillset suits us more than Tierney's.

Interim Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has issued an update on the fitness of Kieran Tierney.

The left-back wasn't in his side's squad against Falkirk this evening, with Marcelo Saracchi starting ahead of the Scotland international.

Speaking post-match, O'Neill issued an update: "He's said he's much better.

"He's feeling better. It was just a niggle.

"I seen him in the dressing room before the game, and he's feeling much better than he did.

"I know he played the game [at the weekend], but he was niggling. It was a stiffness as much as anything

Could we see him playing at the weekend and he’s just been given a rest? Good squad management if so

Hopefully not - Sarraci’s streets ahead currently.

Can't wait to see him under MON / a new manager. BR sucked the life out of the players.

The same with Kieran. Kieran finished the game, didn’t he, against Hearts, but then felt it in training. A bit of a groin strain.

But I think he’s going to be training tomorrow, and will hopefully be fit for selection on Sunday.”

Much like Maeda I think we will most likely see Tierney off the bench on Sunday. Sarrachi deserves to start regardless but it would be great for the strength of the bench if we had Tierney to call on as well as Maeda now.
