Like everyone else I sat down to watch the game yesterday not really knowing what to expect and to be fair the first 20 odd minutes were a bit iffy and stop start which is only natural given all thats gone on lately. But after that we really kicked it up a gear. So much more aggression in our play with the ball. Clearly looking to play and get forward quicker, more crosses in the box and so many good performances all over the field it was great to see. Not going to get carried away on the back of one good performance at home against Falkirk but given whats gone before that really was a massive boost of confidence for us all players and fans alike.

 

As an aside did anybody else notice that Engels was wearing a different top to the rest of the team. Might have been another player who had a different top on as well but Engels did for sure. The collar on his was different.

 

M’ON will get all the credit but that performance is from Maloney(even mentally because he had to pick the players up on Wednesday morning) and it frustrates me he doesn’t get credit.

Maloney is far too good a coach to be sorting loans out so hopefully he’s involved in the next coaching team.

Subtle change but made a difference was getting the number 8’s playing on their strong side, didn’t see the benefit to MOR playing right side of midfield generally tbh.
