    That is the key question people are forgetting as they throw names like Rose and Xavi about. Take Rose for example, who always seems to have had big physical teams in Europe. I just can’t imagine him looking at this squad and thinking it’s in any way properly equipped to compete in Europe.

    Xavi shouldn't be near it either, Barcelona team did play well for being in a bit of a mess but he might not even be a manager.

    Could struggle to get Angeball going again though with the players available.

    Trusty and Scales a big downgrade on CCV and Starfelt.
    Donovan a big downgrade on Juranovic or Johnston
    Sarrachi does play Taylor style and would probably do ok
    McGregor fine
    Engels and Bernardo not really Ange type midfielders though, he liked goalscorers or like number 10s, could play Nygren and Balikwisha, Hatate would be fine
    Wide players with pace and running and pressing, only really got Tounetki and Yang available and Yang is injured I think
    Striker playing offside and pressing a lot, Iheanacho would be as well sacked. Yamada could do a job.

    Probably need 2 centre-backs, 2 midfielders, 2 wingers and 2 striker in January lol

    In my wildest imagination I would like Kieran McKenna. Stagnated quite a bit at Ipswich but who wouldn't, he'd took them as far as he could when he got them into the EPL.

    Imo he'd be able to freshen things up and get the team playing like Rodgers did when he came here the 1st time.
