Knutsen should be up there as top choice.

Ange would be great but he’d likely only be here for a few seasons. We need a long term plan with a manager & director of football that will be here for 5 years at least (all going well).

Even Muscat would be a good pick I think, attacking aggressive football.

Either way Rodgers should be out the door sooner rather than later if things don’t turn around.

Dream would be Knutsen, but of those currently out of a job I'd be keen on:

    Ange
    Adi Hutter
    Marco Rose

EDIT: I'd also go all in on trying to attract Tripyovski (or however you spell it), the Slavia Prague manager.

It will be Maloney/Kennedy/Goodwin. Someone along those lines.

Rodgers is here until the end of the season troops, unless we go on a series of losses that become beyond a farce (currently it’s just a farce).

I think he actually deserves the time and think he can still turn things around but I’m basing it more on past glories and hope than what we’ve seen this season…it’s been torrid so far.

Muscat might be the best choice of them all.

Just some * that get us going forward with the ball instead of turning back with it continuously so the centre half’s have all the possession.

We are dire to watch and have been for a good 9 months. Bar the Bayern tie.

Timing could work in our favour

    Ange out of work

Knutsen and Muskat coming towards end of the season.

    Rose still out of work.

    Rose would be my choice

Aye looks like he's aged about 10 years in the last year.

Think he's a * but you do wonder why guys his age and with his money can be bothered with the hassle and pressures of the job.

    Being him home.

Don't want to see him end up at some EPL relegation fodder or some shitety English championship promotion no hopers.

Haven't seen us this bad since Mowbray.

Most of us would prefer Knutsen but its a non starter.

Hes a complete oddball. Seriously, how many managers in his position would give up the chance to manage Ajax? A European giant with a sterling history and a real shot at transforming your career?

The reason? Ajax refused to give him the current slice of transfer fees he receives at Bodo. If thats true, it speaks alot to his personality and professional ambition.

Its also something out board would NEVER agree to, nor would many other clubs.

A great manager by all accounts. Taken some really big scalps on the continent and singlehandedly transformed Bodo into a recognised European side; but theres no chance Desmond would sanction such a deal.

Think the only way he'd consider it is if they told him that certain members of the board were working their notice.

Because of the boycott of merchandise and maybe a smaller budget to buy players in the future I think they would go for someone who works with a small budget all the time and Steve Robinson of st.mirren could get it because of that as the board will ring fence that money they have in the bank they ain't touching it .
