He is finished. I loved him to bits and rate him as one of the best but many forget that his decline started a good 7-8 months before we sold him. He was no real loss to us.

Always been the same. World class movement, league 2 finishing. Had a great run at the beginning with us though. Probably in his head about missing so does.

He's been going down hill before he left. I'd say he's always been quite wasteful but he was okay because he found space for lots of chances while in an attacking team. Once out of an attacking dominant team there was going to be problems.

He was a really exciting player when he signed for us and defenders didn't know how to deal with him. Sad how things can turn around so quickly. Hope he can possibly find some form or start fresh somewhere and build momentum.

I think some of the inventiveness and imagination seemed to disappear from his finishing towards the end of his time here

    We miss his movement badly.

Even accounting for his dip in form towards the end.

Hopefully the wee man finds his form again. We certainly moved him on at the right time.

Ange Just knew how to play him.
Scored belters. Had great movement...but some amount of sitters missed.
We got our monies worth and more but think it was a case of ange seen his potential and played to suit. Just hasn't had the same form and is now 30 with a dodgy shoulder.
Of he was more clinical he crush it most places but if ypu play for a team where you wont get 5 or 6 chances he doesnt hit that.
I thought he would have done a bit better. But even Birmingham spent what...17million on forward players.

Still...iwata has had aome success there...scored a few belters too.

We defo sold him at the right time and the money we got was really good.
    Ah well.

We really do miss his movement though. Even if not scoring his movement caused all sorts of problems for defenders and definitely resulted in our wingers having more space to get their goals. Sad to see him not scoring much at Birmingham, loved him while he was here.

I remember asking about it when there was chatter about whether it should be him or Giakoumakis that should start. And I'm @ILoveTheCeltic was able to break it down and show stats wise, what you've said there is pretty much bang on and as squad overall. We were scoring more as an 11 with goals everywhere then we were with Giakoumakis.

It feels like a kop out when you here people say about certain players "yeah but, he's the player that does X before the thing that is before the thing that leads to the goal" as a way to make their guy sound like a superstar, but with Kyogo it genuinely felt true in that when we played to his strengths the squad as a whole played more freescoring game

Definitely! You could see so many occasions where he'd make really dangerous runs and we couldn't pick him out initially, but then one of our other players would make use of the space he opened and we'd get in behind. He was a dream of an option to have against a low block as the defenders had no idea where he was going to run to next. I loved the way he would sit in offside initially and then be onside during the next phase of play and be in on goal. Was so clever. We really do miss having an option like that in the squad.

Maybe if rumours about ange going to Birmingham may help him but we definitely got best out of him ..
