They would still be five points up, and we have to not miss a point until we next meet them at CP. I do not see us maintaining the current gap, even if we draw tomorrow. When a team has confidence like they do, things tend to go well.

They're not winning all their games between now and when we meet next.

They're due a good run of poor results. This streak for them won't last.

There's no such thing as "due". The currently joke Huns managed an unbeaten run in the COVID season. Well, now we have rather serious Huns to face in a potential title decider.

The win against Sturm is nice, but the win against Motherwell was a greater fight-back, yet we didn't kick on from it. With crippling injuries to our defense and a leaky Schmeichel, what to hope for?

Some folk just get caught in a constant negativity spiral. The * honking huns now in reality got unlucky to not beat the diets, so we'll go along and beat them with ease. Just watch.

There is a thing of being 'due' something. That's why it's a word.

If we're using the covid season as a reason to take Hearts seriously, all they need is a world wide pandemic to win the league.

Nope, all they need is to pick up a win tomorrow and then avoid a catastrophic meltdown for which there is no plausible cause on the horizon.

If there is a hope I have, it is that the city of Edinburgh suffers a downpour so massive that the game gets postponed.

    * getting it not played.

There's no plausible reason for them to drop points going forward?

History suggests that this run of form is an anomaly, not the other way round.

They will driop points, but not a massive amount. We are already trailing, and any points we drop are fatal.

Hearts highest ever points tally was 74.

To put that into perspective celtic have only had less than that twice in 28 years. Both in 98/99 and 99/00.

So I dont believe theyll suddenly start hitting 95+ points. The 8 game in panic. Will be fighting for 3rd with hibs by the end.

Also worth remembering Motherwell went 3 up there.. so they can be vulnerable.

    Set-Pieces are definitely a worry..

They are best in League, funnily enough they have a Set-Piece Coach, go figure.. most elite minded clubs have them now.....

We need to be careful as we do give a lot of free-kicks away. Soft free kicks are still a way Hun refs can still influence a match, so expect to see lots tomorrow.

Was literally saying this to my mate last night, we are pish at defending set pieces and they are the current best in the league at scoring from them. Guaranteed everytime hearts hit the deck tomorrow the ref will blow for a freekick.

Feel like a lot of the team picks itself, just a question of a) whether Maeda is back fit and b) whether the likes of Shin and Simpson-Pusey finally make the squad. Don't expect either to start but would expect Shin at least to make the bench.

More chance of picking the winning lottery numbers than predicting this game, hopefully we get a result but won’t be surprised if we get beat.

Hearts are 5/2 to win the league, theyre actually above huns now.

Halkett will score from a cross, guaranteed.

Id take a draw now, with our recent form and injuries Id defo take that. Then hope Hearts tail off and we might spend money in January.
