That sturm graz defence was one of the worst ive seen!

He is a million miles from whats required, yip he tries etc ffs is that not what hes supposed to do, if he isnt hitting goals at celtic hed struggle to hit them with any other side in the spfl.

Iheanacho is struggling for goals here. 1 goal from play in 8 games. Kenny is just gone 22 and hasn't really had a run of games. I'm holding off on judgement yet on what level he is at.

Calling him Scottish Championship level is a daft and extreme comment.

He scored against Vikingur, Larne, TNS, Borac Banja Luka (No I’ve not made that name up) and Rapid Vienna (Finally a good level).

Let’s not paint his exploits last season to be something they are not. Lets say we signed him off the back of that, every one of us would be asking serious questions.

Being 19 in the Scottish Championship isn’t an excuse either. 2 of the Top 3 scorers this year are 19.

And has had 1 legitimate goal stolen by the ref, and scored 2 that had others offside in the buildup.

It's not the best metric to be judging Iheanacho on just now Vs the output from him. He's no without some shiters though, was pish against Dundee but who wasnt

    Yep.

When your only defence of a player is to bring down another one, you’re obviously out of ideas.

Anyone with two working eyes can see what Iheanacho is about. But this is the Kenny thread.

Hope he does well and gets some goals. Like his energy. We need to get behind the players that are fit and will likely play.

I just think Iheanacho has been poor overall here. I have been patient as I understand that he has came in with no real pre season and not a lot of football so it might take him time to get up to speed.

However the last number of games have been rubbish from him. Thought Kenny offered much more on Thursday when he came on and caused he gives us the kind of energy and movement that will cause defences problems that Kelechi won't.

His finishing let him down the other night. League of Ireland players usually are slower to develop even you look at Scales or a Seamus Coleman etc. I think Kenny is raw but with a lot of attributes that when refined could lead to him being a very good striker.

He will suffer the same problem as Scales though in that as he is a LOI signing he is an easy target for the boo boys. We could lose 6-3 at Tynecastle and there will be lads coming in here singling Kenny out after.

Calling him Scottish Championship level is an utterly ridiculous and extreme comment.

You're very quick to judge Kenny.

Hahaha the “LOI agenda” is back.

What a load of * about LOI players specifically needing more time too. * me. Have you honestly heard any more * in your life?

“Tried to be patient” with Iheanacho, but Kenny criticism who’s been here for years is too early.

    Honestly man. Braindead.

Hard worker but still think he’s lacking a bit of quality. Will see how he does when he gets a run of games though, strikers need that opportunity. That said, the fact we are relying on him as our main striker shows how much of a mess the transfer window was. He should be 3rd choice for us. If you said at the start of last season that we would be going into a top of the table battle with him up front you would have been laughed at.

effort and running is bare bare minimum, needs to start showing some end product.
