    We keep doing this massive triangle with McGregor at the point and Hatate and Engels pushed away up standing behind 2 banks of players, everyone completely isolated.

    Someone’s got to be close to the ball carrier. You can’t have 2 midfielders, 2 wingers and a striker all 40-50 yards from the ball.

    Considering how we’ve been playing I’m actually content with this performance so far.

    A bit to go no doubt but this is a huge improvement in tempo and transitions.

    Individual decisions still suspect. Nygren is not what we need here. Perhaps harsh on the lad but he’s not my type of midfielder.
