I do feel like the tune at the start is almost like a slap in the face to teams like us. Teams that are known for UCL football. It's like a reminder of just how much you've fallen off.

I've never known us to play in the Europa League whilst being in a good place. Ange's first season maybe but we were hardly flowing at that point.

I think we still stand a good chance of picking up a win here.

    We desperately need it.

They're top of their table above the likes of Red Bull Salzburg and Rapid Wien can't imagine they'll be push overs.

Got to hope the team bounces back and is right up for it or else we're getting pumped on home turf.

I only see a humping sadly, which we shouldn't be getting in EL.

    Won't be watching it. It's a * take.

It's like watching a car crash in slow motion this season.

Theyve beat a very poor salzburg team, away, and lost already to the two Wien teams. Thats not exactly something to be worried over TBH
Theres no reason we shouldnt be confident of winning this game by a clear margin.

I won’t be able to watch the first half tonight, and honestly? I’m really not that bothered

Can’t believe I feel that way about Celtic right now.

Said the same thing about Kairat.

Actually the same arguments were made about Red Star (including by me), and Braga.

    You are right.

And one of the main reasons is we have no midfield.
Rodgers has been here for three years and he still has not fixed the midfield.

Went to have a look at where they are in the table. 3 points clear at the top with a game in hand against 2nd bottom.

Only bright spot was they don't look to be scoring any more than we are.

2 - 1 win for us is my hope.

There was also no reason why we shouldve been worried about Kairat, Crvena, Sevco, Hibs... * DUNDEE, but they all took points off us.

I mean zero offence but i think youre underestimating how big the puddle of * we currently are sitting is. And Rodgers' doesnt have the boots for it.

Right now Im worried about EVERY side we face.

I’m not bothered about this one at all to be honest.

There’s two types of clubs in the Europa, super eager clubs like the Huns of the last few years and clubs that are only there because they’re in a lull/transition. It’s why * teams like the Huns always get good results until the later stages when teams care.

We’re clearly the second category. As a club we haven’t taken this tournament or this season seriously.

I’ll second-screen this one tonight, unless there’s a genuine change to the setup, which I doubt.

    Would like to see

    ———————sinisalo———————
    Donovan—ccv——-scales—-sarracchi
    ———-engels————bernardo———-
    —nygren——-balikwisha———tounekti
    ———————ilhenacho—————-

no doubt will get the same 433, same turgid, slow, predictable play though.

Honestly for me this team and formation is a no-brainer.

At least this team would have energy and develop a couple of players instead of them languishing on the bench.

Unless Rodgers is rejecting responsibility for ANY signings made in the last few years this would also mean he's actually playing players he had a hand in bringing here, instead of relying on the tired midfield Ange left him 2.5 years ago..

We’re not winning this and we’ll lose against Hearts at the weekend as well.

Dunfermline would beat us right now.

    We suck.

I’ve already written this wretched season off and might not even bother watching game or even listening to it tonight.

If the regime and the manager/players seem to have checked out then good luck getting me to give a flying * either.
