He started off great when he was pretty much unknown. Teams have quickly worked out he’s the only player in the team with a bit of trickery and ability to beat a man and probably also know we’ll desperately give it to him constantly and us such just double or triple up on him basically nullifying our entire attack.

Not even sure if it’s talent being coached out of him.

More that he was a shiny new toy who was different to our other wingers and we maybe got ahead of ourselves in terms of how good he is or isn’t.

His output in Sweden and Norway was pish, and he’s only been capped 3 times for Tunisia.

He’s definitely a step above the likes of Yang and Forrest, but he’s got a lot to prove. Takes far too many touches, lacks a change of pace and so far has shown little end product.

Would like to see him on the right and Balikwisha on the left. Need to change something.

He is our only real threat at the moment and other teams know it. Dundee had about 3 men on him all day yesterday.

We should be tactically exploiting that and making teams think twice, but we never do.

He's the only player in the team that has a bit of trickery but his end product leaves a lot to be desired it doesn't help he's our only real threat and can just get marked out the game

Looked great first few games but now sucked into the broader mediocrity and negativity that is our club.

Made an initial impression due to how bad everyone else has been on our wings this season. Has potential but right now isn't at the level required to be our main attacking threat. Our options in every part of the front 3 aren't good enough. Was easily marked out of the game by Dundee and his end product is inconsistent.

His first few games he was as likely to go to the byline or cut inside causing defenders to hesitate but against Dundee he just kept cutting inside and defenders had him

A few weeks ago he was the next Jota now he's a dud. This place can be tough reading at time, it always has to be an extreme.

He had a poor game yesterday as did the majority of players on the pitch for us. Think he was guilty of trying too much himself and I think it was him who lost the ball for the second goal. Confidence looks to have gone but to be fair to him he never hid and kept looking to get on the ball. His end product and decision making certainly looks like it needs work.

I'd start Balikwisha on the left Thursday and Forrest on the right. Hopefully Tounekti can come in and make an impression and get back to his earlier form.

It’s easy to double and triple on our wingers because we have no midfield.

We just send the ball out wide and expect wingers to make something happen. As soon as they can’t, we can’t score, which is why we have 6 scoreless games already this season.

I would say its similar to Covid season, few players came in and made an impact for a few games then soon dropped to the same level as rest of the squad. Shows it’s a management issue, since he was literally the only player even taking on a man and creating things.

Nothing highlights more how he is our obvious and only out ball, than the second goal at the weekend.

As said by the guys above, it is easy to double or triple up on him, because they know the rest of the team arent gonna support him, aren't gonna provide an out ball for him and even if we did cover the press, our players would simply "recycle" the ball, it is an easy solve for the opponents to double/triple up on him, force the error - as they did - and then hit on the counter as the rest of the team stand around wondering what just happened.

The more we continue on this pedestrian approach to the game, the more teams will happily press us and take the counter break as an opportunity - it is glaring for any one playing against us that the ball is going to our left and we are * scared to bother with the RW.

I'm sure the same happened with Forrest in the 2nd half where he went as far as he could and stopped and turned but no celtic player within 20yds!.

The amount of people who are incredibly fickle never ceases to astound me. It is fairly obvious that he is literally the only player in our team who has the ability to make something happen. So teams are doubling or trebling up on him, safe in the knowledge that Nygren, Yang and Iheanacho can be handled.

This is a guy who has not had many games at a high level. But the talent is there. Ideally we would be seeing him play in a confident team where we had good options and he could isolate the full back. That isn't happening. His end product needs work but what do people expect from a £5 million player signed from Hammarby at 22 years of age
