Depends on the January window. At this stage I find it unlikely.

Depends on this weekend IMHO. If we lose and go 8 points behind and January is a long way off its looking very tough to see us winning. If we somehow win at the weekend then it can provide a real spark hopefully to get us back in the title mix.

Being honest not a chance. Hearts massive favourites ahead of Sunday will be 8 clear coming Sunday night. Plus massive goal difference will be done and dusted Sunday night for us, we are beyond * a can’t even be angry just want the place gutted!

Hearts are playing well and if they were to win the league then they will have deserved it but we'll see what they're made off and how their bottle is once they get a wee defeat or two under their belts.

FYI, markets have Celtic 1/3, Hearts around 2.5/1 and Rangers 20/1 for all you naysayers. Money to be made if you are that confident celtic will blow it!

Still reckon we'll win the league but we're making it much harder on ourselves than it should be.

IMO Hearts will fall away, after that we should win the league but despite the way things are now i would not be surprised if the hun are snapping at our heels.

I think when they get their * together they will fly up the league and thats when the pressure will be on for us and unless we strengthen in january things could get tricky.

Or alternatively, only 2 ahead with a reduction in the goal difference... It's crazy to say we're out of anything at this stage, even if we did lose... We've been further than 8 off other teams before and brought it back...

Unless our manager changes within the next month or two then no. Madness to think it but I'm absolutely certain Rodgers doesn't have it in him to turn the tide

May take us going 8 points behind on Sunday for us to make the required change to then win the league.

Don't see us winning the league from 8pts behind if Rodgers remains in charge but if we sack him then I think we will win it.

We all know recruitment was awful in the summer but for me the biggest problem with our performances right now are the manager.

Folk need to calm a little bit.

Confident we’ll win the league. The guy at the wheel has a near impeccable trophy record at Celtic. It certainly won’t be pretty, particularly with that front line. But we’ll get there.

    As you were.

We definitely should. Will be a hard watch this season but we'll win it with a few games to go and then concede a game or 2 as usual so it'll look tighter than it was.

Genuinely unsure and I'm still in too much of a bad mood for any optimism. My feelings are * up and I need to take a good look in the mirror, probably ask myself what kind of supporter I am who get's all stroppy when the chips are down but on the other hand they have taken so much away from me. Us supporters can be easily duped into thinking the board members share our vision of steady progress, we will hand over our money every week but don't make the mistake of making it obvious that it's all a big scam, not all at once with so much in the bank and every opportunity to improve.

I think we'll win it by 10+ points. 40% saying Hearts is ridiculous :giggle1: We're 8 games in.

Wont take much for the huns to overtake us imo. We will lose alot of games this season and so will they if they continue like they have, but if they improve they will overtake us and that is a high possibility. We wont improve and that is the problem. Even if we had Kuhn and Kyogo and Taylor we would still be in the same mess as the problem is extremely deeply rooted which has affected the squad. Rodgers have obviously given up and that is unforgiveable.

And obviously the board lack of ambition affects everyone involved.

Extremely controversial but i think Rangers will win the league this season as they can improve with new players. We have old players who aint interested anymore and that have reached their peak.

Our midfield is literally the worst i have ever seen.

The only chance we have at this stage is to hold on for our lives untill January, and then go * crazy in that window.

This season has Covid season vibes all over it. Not an exact copy, absolutely not, but purely in the way that the club seem content to stumble along and assume that the size of the club will simply just power through regardless of all the * happening in and around us.

The club had it's chance in COVID to act properly and put things right, they never * did.

Same this season, there is still time and there is still reasonable opportunities for everyone involved to stop their petty * and get on with running a football club here.

But it certainly feels like the two driving factors in how successful we will be (Rodgers and the Board) are gonna play a game of chicken, with the football club and the fans being the only real losers in all of it.

Rodgers I have and will defend, he has been given a * hand by the club and he has been right to vocally make his point - the point has been made though, let the fans take over with the protests etc, Rodgers now needs to do the managerial thing and get the best out of these players.
The squad depth is poor and overall quality lacking, but there is one or two things he can do, that doesn't deviate too far from his style (or how he previously has played) that could switch things up.
We get the striker options and RW options are * poor, but time for Rodgers to stop trying to highlight that and just get on with fielding a team in a system with instructions designed to overcome it. Same goes for the midfield issue - we know we do not have a proper number 6, and I know he would like to play with one, but stop overly highlighting it by letting Cal drown out there and the other two midfielders looking like inept twats without a clue. He played a 4231 his first spell, where we had an out and out 10 and two midfielders where one would sit deeper (Brown) and the other ran box to box near enough (Cal). But he seems determined to highlight we do not have a quality 10 by not playing one at all, and overly highlighting the lack of a 6 by forcing Cal in to it.
Just play Nygren or Hatate as the 10 already and let Cal step forward from the dreaded defensive position he is forcing!.
then the other midfielder can have the joy of having others to pass to in advanced positions, and not simply feel like a spare * adding an extra pass around the halfway line when it isn't * needed.

Rodgers does those two minor changes, he will get a better tune out of this squad.

The board then need to raise their hand and actually accept they are a bunch of parastical * that * the manager and the club over this last window (not to forget they do this often every season) and just go out and sign the 3 players we would desperately * need as a bare minimum in the January window (an actual DM, an actual RW with legs and an actual starting ST).
Swallow their pride/ego/desmonds *, what ever it is that stops them from running a football club as a football club and do the right thing in the January window.

We do all of that, and pronto, we may get out of this week being only 2points behind Hearts and not * 8

If we do that and go in to November only 2 behind them, then I am confident and fine with the season being a winning one come May. But if we slip to 8 behind, and Rodgers and the board continue to play a game of chicken with each other about whos going to break first in remembering they manage a football club, then we scarily may get to January with even the huns on our tails for second place and we end up with a 3 way race for a title, and I do not expect us, in our current mood, to be able to overcome that situation.

So aye, in short - if the * in charge get their finger out, we will be fine. But if we continue as we are, then * all chance of winning this season.

Currently I've got BIG questions marks regarding the team and manager - I will have to say no at this stage of the season. We have not played well in 95% of the games this year - we cannot score goals and now we are leaking cheap goals at the back. That is a bad recipe - I would be looking to offload Rodgers ASAP and get someone in who can motivate current squad of players. Calling ur team a Honda Civic is baffling - how can players respect a manager coming out with statements like that. Rodgers is finished in my view.
