More like a mobility scooter given the difference in budgets

 

Nobody is denying that Rodgers has been * on by the board, but him now * on the players isn't helping.

If the board say tonight "ok we'll spend £50m", they can't spend even a pound of that until the Jan window opens.

Rodgers has to do the best he can with what he's got. Instead of making a comment that essentialy says "oh poor me, the players are *", he should be trying to find formatations and tactics that mitigate the shortcomings of the squad, not highlight them.

I'll ask you a simple yes/no question.
Do you think Rodgers is making the most of our current squad ?

 

Everybody knows he got * over in the transfer window but he had 2 choices- he could have left or he could have just got on with trying to win some trophies.
Seems like he’s doing neither and just sulking while picking up a big pay packet.
No doubt he could and should be doing better with what he’s got.

 

Considering we play in Scotland against a lot of * it isn’t .

He’s got close on £30 million worth of his signings that he doesn’t play. The board are giving him * all if he’s here in January

 

We probably spent more on Yang than Dundee have in the last 25 years on transfers.

The more you read/hear that quote by Rodgers, the more you want him gone.

 

Its a difficult question to answer. If it was as simple as changing formation and tactics then obviously he would have done it. That might work in FIFA or FM but looking at our squad its difficult to see an obvious answer. Its not like Brendan deliberately set up to lose today. You can see by the match stats themselves we should have won the game.

However, to directly answer your question, I'll say no and agree there is perhaps tweaks to the system and personnel changes that might work better going forward. But he should never, ever be in this situation. We can't allow repeats of the summer transfer window regardless of who is the manager of the team. I'm glad we currently have a manager of Brendan's standing in the door of the club. I think things could be even worse with an unknown manager.

 

We have a team full of international players even when we have had a * transfer window. The poor squad excuse isn't cutting it anymore.

Give Brendan Rodgers the same budget as Dundee, Kilmarnock or Livingston and see how he gets on then. It's utter nonsense.

He clearly can't get a tune out of them or they just won't play for him

 

There is a total absence of motivation throughout the whole club right now from top to bottom. While it's not entirely his responsibility, if the manager can't provide that motivation, he needs replaced.

 

Obviously chucked it and looking to be fired for the payoff so he can nab a * EPL job like notts Forrest.

That comment absolutely reeks of him knowing there’s interest down the road and he’s now looking to shift blame to save face. If he was driving a Honda civic then Steven * pressley was riding a trike, and he still managed to win the race. Absolute joke of a comment that despite everyone knowing the squad is miles from being good enough.

 

Pressley spoke openly at the start of the season about how he was struggling to find 11 professional players to field. They lost 12 players last season and needed to replace a team with freebies and loan signings. It is embarrassing that Rodgers is bemoaning resources after this game.

 

That's probably the case.

But Rodgers has already blown £40M Champions League money this year, if we lose this league, then we stand to lose another £40M next year.

So, we pay Rodgers off now for a few million bucks, get someone in now, who can try and hunt down Hearts, and give us a scooby in the two Cups, as I can't see us beating a Muscat driven Huns in the Cup Semi either under Rodgers.

 

it's a competition between who can destroy the clubs reputation quicker. His ego or the boards ego.

Id * understand if - just for argument sake - we've somehow turned it around in a different universe and won this title with 5 games spare, then McInnes at Hearts comes out with that statement.

Whether the board spend or not, to be coming out with that comment as defending champions, likely highest wage bill (if not huns), still spending more on reserve players than entire squad values of our competition in the league. Is so wildly off the mark and just shows how far detached he is from reality. Something we've been accusing the board of with their nonsensical statements after meetings with fan clubs etc...

Rodgers needs * ousting, along with all coaching staff, we need a complete * overhaul from top to bottom within the squad coaches and manager.

The issues the fanbase have with the board is a much deeper issue that isn't going to be a quick fix and is likely going to be effectively a war of attrition.

But separate to that Rodgers needs sacking

 

He won't bcoz he doesn't give a * but Desmond should step in and sack both Rodgers and Lawwell

rodgers needs sacked or backed with a new contract .this limbo is gonna make an even bigger * of this season ,worse than it is now . what happens in january when we have more of this club/rodgers signings .if rodgers aint gonna be here beyond next summer ,some * will be making all the transfer calls who rodgers wont play .the season will just be wrote off like the covid one because no * will take resposibility and do what needs to be done
