He can be absolutely infuriating but is undoubtedly a goal threat for us. Don't have too many of those either.

He’ll always sniff out an opportunity which is massive in this current Celtic side that don’t create much

 

This. He may not be someone who we’ll be shifting for £15m+ when the time comes but the team is on its knees in an attacking sense and we just aren’t in a position where we can leave a goal threat like that out the team.

He makes things happen and will come with a guarantee of goals. * I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he finishes out top scorer this season tbh.

My main issue with him is how long he takes to do anything. Quite often the pass is on and it could put someone through or result in a decent chance but he * about on it for far too long. But for the time being he has to play.

 

He would do a job up front, always gets himself in a good position in the box and can put it away.

 

He looks a good player that is stuck in a system that doesnt get the best out of him.

I dont think passing and possession heavy football suits him.

Its frustrating because I think our midfield players have so much more to offer than we see week in week out.

 

He'll thrive under a different system imo

 

Even though he goes missing sometimes in games he must start imo. He is involved in about every goal we score.

 

I know Sweden are a * state, but isn't he making squads now?

Edit: aye, I see he was an unused sub, both games.

 

He has little moments of good stuff here and there but sometimes forget he's on the pitch.

 

Ill give him this, he's one of the few players I think will thrive when Rodgers is gone.

Still, he almost invisible whenever he plays.

Good player but slow and doesn't suit this system whatsoever. Certainly no as an 8..

 

I haven't really watched the team as much as I'd like to this season due to other commitments, but any time I've seen this guy I have been slightly underwhelmed. I think he's a decent player and has potential, so perhaps he'll come good in the fullness of time. As it stands, right now, he's failed to light the touchpaper (imo).

 

Who'd have thought a guy who's played the vast majority of his career as an inverted right winger wouldn't suit playing as a box to box midfielder?
