Its impossible to believe that Shin is so bad he cannot get ahead of Kenny on the bench.

A club signing and now being used as a * in some petty * swinging competition between Rodgers and the board.

I feel sorry for the boy but to be honest, I don’t want him playing.

It’s very clear someone at Celtic went out and signed these players without the managers approval and that’s why he’s bombed them out and in my opinion it’ll have something to do with Lawwell (although it doesn’t actually matter who it was).

If I was in Rodgers position I’d do the same. Imagine the Celtic board selling all your players then picking their replacements.

We don't know how good he is but he's definitely had some impacts..

His first game pre season he came on and made us look better, scored albeit it was offside from that wee diddy winger we had on loan taking an age..

Scored against someone else at home and was playing well. Think Maeda was just off though so again didn't count..

Was a menace when he came on against the huns..

He is absolutely better than Kenny. Grafts like * and is rapid. Can also play right wing as well..

    Another of Rodgers' stubborn calls..

If we are going to play 2 up top he needs to get a chance, criminal he’s not even been on the bench. Same with Inamura.

Would like to see him get more opportunities which will hopefully come in time then we can measure properly if he'll be good enough or not.

Also think we should be making a lot more use of Inamura aswell. Some games we are crying out for a guy that can play the ball the way he does.

I’m not going to pretend that I believe we’d be spanking teams and playing exciting football if he was to suddenly start getting minutes, but it’s frustrating, from a fan’s perspective, that both he and Inamura haven’t even really been given a chance to fail. *, in Inamura’s case, he’s actually put in some promising performances and the manager’s response was to downplay them and try to pseudo-gaslight us in to believing that they were meaningless and imply that’s he’s actually not very good. I don’t care how anyone tries to justify it, it’s rank rotten man-management at best and petty and spiteful at worst.

I’m sure some will argue about Rodgers seeing them in training and whatnot, but I’ve seen both guys play, and I’ve also seen some of the performances from guys that the manager apparently believes are of the quality to consistently get minutes for us and I’m not seeing the supposed disparity in talent or ability - which may be a damning indictment in of itself.

It just exemplifies everything wrong with the club at the moment, from the board down. Spite and egos rule the day.

There’s no grand conspiracy with this one by the way. He’s just nowhere near good enough. That’s all and was a Japan purchase from the board (the majority of which have been pretty poor since Maeda/Kyogo/Hatate). More bad than good. Not a good scouting strategy. That’s all - there’s nothing much deeper than that.

No matter who sanctioned this signing Rodgers has got to consider picking him. I mean, he’s hardly worse than Kenny, is he?

Maybe so, and fair enough if that’s correct, but he came on against the Huns and looked lively, IIRC - I don’t think we’ve seen a trace of him since then. Can he really be that bad?

He isn’t the answer but is a far better option than Kenny who is a junior player at best.

He's no that bad the managers bombed him out because the board picked him

we could have let him go on loan to an spl or championship club if he wasn't going to get games here, although i think I'd rather have let Kenny go on loan instead

He's had a handful of apps and done nothing with them but I find it hard to believe he can have less of an impact than Johnny Kenny

Him going out on loan to an Spfl club would have ran the risk of him doing well and showing up the manager as a stubborn wee fud

Showed very little in the time he did play to be honest. Would he be better than Kenny? Maybe aye, maybe naw.

He might not be a great finisher but he's fast, strong, hardworking and doesn't mind a header.

we could be doing with that in the team just now.

To drop him out the squad and European squad because you're in a huff is mental.
