Used to like him but now have no time for him whatsoever, think a good majority of the fan base feel the same way, wish he would crawl back under his stone and concentrate on managing his own club Dunfermline, He is a "has been" and a board apologist.

Very disappointing to see Lennon acting as an apologist for this Celtic board and Desmond.

Obviously your entitled to your opinion, but trying to down play Lennons achievements as manager is ridiculous mate.

Neil Lennon is a Celtic legend…he’s human like the rest of us no one is perfect. The Covid season is fully out of my system. He gave us many great moments as player and manager and went through a lot of * just for being a Celtic man. He’ll always be welcome at Celtic Park and to suggest the whole support is against him is just a load of * tbh.

Guy has taken so much * in the name of Celtic from non Celtic fans over the years. Stuff that pretend hard men online couldn’t handle a fraction of. He * up and stayed too long in the end but agree with every word you said there :50:

I don't think Lennon speaks like a Celtic fan anymore. Hasn't done ever since he left.

Aye it's not about just having an obviously * season in COVID.
It's not about him being appointed when he wasn't the best candidate.

It's how he spoke about the fans, still does, in such a degrading way. Belittling the support and now defends the board.
It's how he denies his own part in the downfall of the COVID season, never takes responsibility.

His overall attitude since then has been very poor.

Exactly. Imagine an interview after that season where he said something along the lines of:

"I got so much wrong and just couldn't get it right that season. My head was all over the place trying to get it right and I couldn't bring myself to leave because I was determined to be the one to get us 10-in-a-row."

Something simple like that would've resonated with a lot of supporters. Would've made you think "you know what? I would've struggled to leave too in those circumstances".

Instead it's been "The players didn't help me. The government didn't help. The fans didn't help".

    He's a * weapon.

It's not exactly a surprise that he thinks DD & PL are the bees knees considering their obvious personal relationship but just read the room and keep quiet. Then again, that's never been a virtue of his.

I still love NL but let’s be frank, he’s a Dermot Desmond puppet.

I've got no bones to pick with Neil Lennon.

Just remember all the silverware he won for us, and how he nearly got kicked to death by two Huns in Ashton Lane.

Then that wee * McCoist had a go at him too.

A "diehard Celtic fan" that had never stepped foot in the stadium until the day he signed

Really poor from Lennon to be rowing in behind the board here at a time the support is trying to build momentum for positive change. Its not the first time either.

He could easily just stay out of it and say nothing.

Hopefully he never does the TV for one of our games again.

He’s a guy who could easily have been up there with the most loved in our history. All the * he went through and what he achieved.

But as a manager I never rated him. I know the Huns went undefeated, but lets not forget he played his part in bottling the most important season in our recent history. He should never have been in that position, Dunfermline is and always has been his level.

But the way he talks about the fans and dismisses us is the real reason that I don’t want the guy associated with the club ever again.

    He was right though.

The players, the government and the fans didn't help.
