You look at the likes of McTominay and Hojlund at United, some players just don’t fit clubs or systems and flourish elsewhere.

He’s not making a return here.

I'd much rather him than the likes of Yang, Forrest and even Maeda currently, and Balikwisha hasn't done much to tell me he's better.

Would definitely be playing the now, quite weird what happened with him, has like 16 goals and assists by Christmas was it, hit January and Rodgers was like "thank * we can bin this *" only to end up 20+ month later watching Yang and Forrest and * just being moved about.

I'd genuinely recall him if it's possible he walks in to our team currently imo or at least would be the best option off the bench

Was a bit like Nygren really, could actually beat men and run with a ball just not quick and could score and set goals up regularly.

Think Rodgers didn't like him as he wasn't a "keep possession at all costs" type who only shot or crossed when in a good area, he did like to just swing a ball in from anywhere or cut in and shoot from 30 yards.

Thats really what we miss now, somecunt to hit shots.

"Luis Palma enjoyed a sensational European night as Lech Poznań dismantled Rapid Vienna 4–1 in the Conference League, and the Honduran winger was at the heart of everything. Palma opened the scoring after just 13 minutes with a calm finish that set the tone for the evening.

He didn’t stop there. His creativity tore Rapid apart, and he capped his performance with a smart assist for Taofeek Ismaheel before half-time. Lech were rampant, and by full-time the home crowd were in full voice, chanting Palma’s name as he soaked in the applause"

I've seen comments on the Lech fans forum calling for a fundraiser to be organised to help pay the transfer fee.

Out of action in the league due to suspension (red card)

The loan of Luis Palma from Celtic to Lech Poznań turned out to be (so far) a hit. The representative of Honduras has grown into one of Lech's leaders, but... After the season, either he will return to Scotland or Lech will buy him out. Goal.pl has determined the exact amount that Poznań residents have to spend. We are talking about the transfer record of Ekstraklasa.

Delight after the clash with Rapid

Luis Palma has shown samples of extraordinary skills before, but it was in the match against Rapid that the Honduran aroused the most admiration. First of all, he opened the results with a miraculous shot, thanks to which Lech had a much easier in the rest of the game

His efforts (not only in this match) are appreciated by "Kolejorz" fans so much that there has been a discussion of what can happen after the season for some time. As you know, the Honduran to Lech is only on loan, and then you have to decide what to do next.

    Slightly less than 4.5 million
The good news for Lech is that the club has a buyout option, which "Kolejorz" communicated on the occasion of the announcement of Palma's transfer. The worse thing is that the amount is very high for Polish conditions. Previously, it was unofficially said that it was 4.5 million euros. Goal.pl looked at this situation and it is a little... better for Lech. Well, according to our information, the buyout clause of Luis Palma is equal to 4 million euros.

    A million more than Rajovic
This is still a lot for the Polish club, because it would mean a clear beating of the transfer record set by Legia Warsaw, which recently laid out 3 million euros for Mileta Rajovic. In theory, it seems that Lech could still afford such an expense. Secondly, there is still a lot of time to make a decision. In addition, it may be possible to do something else during the negotiations (if such are possible).

However, if Palma plays as before (except for the performance in Częstochowa, after which he was suspended) or even better, then in Poznan (especially the accountant) they will have a very difficult nut to crack. Because although we have already described why he did not succeed in Celtic, he is a candidate for (perhaps) the biggest star of the Ekstraklasa.

Anyway, goal.pl recently talked about this transfer with Reinaldo Rueda, the selector of Honduras. The Colombian clearly told us what he thinks about his ward's transfer to Lech.

One I’ll always maintain has bags of ability in the MJ mould but too reliant on confidence to play with us.

Shows thr level of recruitment when our 4th choice left winger would probably start on the right if he was here.

If we get 4m for him then it's great business as he was never going to make it here. He was just too slow and weak for Scottish football.
