Figured that was the news triple H was hyping up.
How that is a game changer in the way he hyped it is a * mystery, other than them getting more money. It won't actually change the product.

It's telling what the main driver is though and it's not the fans of the product.

40 years they have never went outside north America for WrestleMania, some countries well deserving and itching to host it for years, first time they plump to the Saudi cash.

No hate on the Saudis for it, they've got the money to flaunt and companies will take it

But shame on the companies that are only seeing cash symbols and not the benefit for the fans, superstars or the growth of the product.

In the end I wonder if some recent decisions hinder them. You used to have the network which included all ppvs. In America you now need about 3 or 4 subscription services to get everything. Some will pay it but others will turn off. We get it all on Netflix (I still don't watch) but USA you need quite a few in ESPN which I think is about $40. They get the money now, but again seems short term ism.

Some wrestling fans will take this as an insult that they are making wrestlemania unaccessible for them.

Ticket prices are through the roof, even * pest McMahon knew making live events somewhat affordable was key to families and the next generation of kids watching it. If it's just wealthy adults watching, who's watching in ten years?

They’re so transparent about it. I’ve been to both Glasgow and London and average ticket seat prices were extortionate. If my kids get into this we will struggle to afford to go as a family, which is a shame.

Aye, I'm praying my son doesn't get into it. He's not allowed to watch it, but he's 6 so I can control it. When he's older he will watch stuff, friends will tell him about stuff etc.

I'd probably take him to watch indies instead.

See the number of wrestling shows that WWE wants people to keep up to date with nowadays?

Feels like Raw and Smackdown are your big ones whilst it wants you to effectively watch NXT, Evolve, and TNA as homework. Whilst having a "PLE" every 2 weeks or so.

Dunno how anyone with any sort of life could consume the content they seemingly want you to.
