In theory it can only be dd but we all know it's probably lawwell retaining power that * us out of signing Mcginn, who every time I see the Villa Captain reminds me of lawwell and his malignant influence over our club

Is anyone surprised with the outcome...it's their club to do what they like as far as they're concerned.. taking no responsibility for what is happening and thinking the club is being run just fine. Arrogance of these * is unreal and the way they look down their noses at the fans shows what they think of fan engagement. If they really do believe the club is being run properly then the fans need to come up with with something better than the odd silence bcoz quite clearly they're going nowhere or changing how the club is run.

If any of that rumoured info from the meeting is true, and lets be honest it sounds completely plausible, then we need to as a fan base stay united behind the collective and keep the pressure on these clueless fannies on the board.

Time for talking is over with this shower of * and time to take the gloves off and no nothing illegal but the protests need to be stepped up and maybe sit-down protests outside the main stand and car park so they can't park their cars and maybe hand leaflets out to fans to not spend money on merchandise and buying food and drink inside the stadium.

If all that proves to be true the situation is more dire than most of us thought. They’re totally unaware of the direction they’re taking this club. We’re verging on covid season levels of * at the moment (A complete and utter disaster that nearly saw the pendulum swing in Glasgow - only salvaged by a miracle appointment of a random Ozzie and his in depth knowledge of absolute bargains in Japan).

We can all smell it coming and being 2-1 down at home to Motherwell with 20 minutes to play felt like it too.

I’m not sure exactly what needs to be done but it has to be something that hits these * in the pocket.

Those * in suits may have their fancy job titles but collectively we hold the keys to this club. We can’t forget that.

Finding the balance between supporting the players trying their best to win us another league title and forcing change will be difficult but not impossible.

If its true then you don't need to look any further than the fact they have zero interest in finding out who briefed against Rodgers as how * they are at their jobs.

There is a rat in the camp and the people who should be the managers biggest allies at the club are briefing against him and we have no interest in taking action... Maybe because they know who it is

Shows again the issue is Desmond not his lackies.

Makes me wonder what he is hiding, banking all that money and penny pinching at every chance over any deal. Maximising profit margins to sell with any luck.

Based on that WhatsApp summary it doesnt sound like there was much point.

To be honest a 30 minute meeting with so many people was always going to be a waste of time. There are too many voices and the message from the fans needs distilled into a few key points and one or two nominated speakers.

If the board are not willing to accept any failings whatsoever, it is beyond arrogance. But I cant see how that can be challenged in the current format.

It feels to me like if Nicholson can’t even authorise £200k increase to £1m for McCowan then Lawwell really is the one running things.

Like who is he leaving the room to call for that authorisation? It would need to be a mad control freak that insists on that and I doubt Desmond would be demanding minute-by-minute updates on the transfer of Luke McCowan from Dundee.

Is it Desmond or Lawwell tho..

Can't imagine DD is that invested that he ok's every transfer. Nothing big happens at the club, without his say so but would Nicholson really need to run £200k past him on deadline day?

Maybe has to get an ok or agreement through McKay the finance guy..

But, its no surprise we can't get bigger more complex deals over the line, when it can be complex to get a signing like McCowan in, who would have been 100% committed to making the move happen..

    Pure * hour

    100%

It’s been clear for a while we rely on agents doing the deals for us then presenting them to us. We are clearly too * to go out and negotiate with a club.

Aye, rings true.. Ange's agent apparently had to broker some of his signings.

Can't stand the club but Sheffield Wednesday fans have managed to stay away from the food stalls etc on matchday, surely we can do that as well. Like others have said we need to hit them where it matters the most.
If that is true about them not investigating the leak then that's a * shambles on a different scale.

I read it as Desmond will set out the budgets and profit margins he wants which the board then enforce. They’ll have a maximum value they want to pay for a player and anything over will require the boards say so. MN just the middle man essentially.

Which is * backwards cause the board doesn’t have a scooby about real market value especially when we were desperate for players and then hence the panic at the end with Balikiwisha and Tounetki.

We’re run like a corporate company with too many middle men and * holding the power who shouldn’t.

Cynically, do wonder them choosing the timing of the meeting with another 2 weeks to 'cool down' after it. I will wait for official minutes but this isn't going away, they are just adding fuel to the fire.

I said that the timing of that meeting was questionable. I believe the board didn't want any aggro at the EL game so they offered the meeting as a temporary panacea to the fans. They didn't want the world watching and now they have another couple of weeks to sit and hope that the problem goes away and they can continue. They treat the fans as though they're stupid and have no real understanding of what's going on. I've been impressed by some of our more knowledgeable fans of late. The blogs are excellent. Imo I want PL out as I think that he has far too much influence in what's going on. I want DD away as well as to my way of thinking he's no better than that lot who took over the huns. It's not personal but guys like that are out and out businessmen how can they operate or think like the ordinary fans.

It's just gonna be dragged out as much as possible in the hope it'll die down and performances pick up. Foot to their throat must continue.

If the rumoured output is true, we all now know where we stand.
They are not going to do anything.

No more meetings - loud and clear protests until the key blazers move on.

    Just catching up.

Wasnt at it no, think it was select members. I've actually broken the lower half of my leg currently hence why I'm a bit quieter with updates FYI, I also wouldn't have made it anyway which is annoying :56:
