If that summary is true, you would think it should make it easier to keep the collective united?

Seems like the board are saying we tried telling you to f off nicely and now we are telling you to f off proper.

I thought the risk would be they put on a false front and make a few empty promises and pledge various reviews. And this would kind of divide the group.

But if they dont accept anything is wrong at all other than fan engagement then what is there to discuss?

If that's the turth then they need to start looking at better action than staying silent for a few minutes here and there. Bleed them dry.

Get the silent protests to *. The protests should have been full throttle already, after tonight, surely that must be top of everyone’s list. You aren’t getting rid of these * by not using extreme measures.

I'd say that's probably how it did go..

I was never interested in what they had to say anyway. Knew they'd either double down or waffle a load of pish to appease the masses..

Their original statement and tone said it all about how they see us....as nobodies. The damage has long been done..

More action is needed and has to be ramped up in my opinion..

Came on hoping for the best but feel so deflated after reading some of what happened at the meeting. They are taking us all for mugs and I believe its now time to take the gloves off and go full tonto with those tory *. Hope the guys in the committee get all the support they need to fight the good fight as they'll need it

Denial denial denial. It was that * Lawwell who went to the Hun about BR and that’s why it’s not being investigated. A shower of despicable *. Time to take the protests to another level by starving the income and empty seats. These leeches have to be removed.

Not surprising one bit, taking zero responsibility with the old slopey shoulders. They know the fans will never be united in a single strategy of how to move forward.

The silent protests wont do *, we need things moving at a higher level while organising our collective group to speak for the associations and push things on. Momentum is key now but the board knows results on the pitch will keep eyes off them until January which is when they’ll tell us to give them one more chance.

No investigation after the leaked press thing is a shambles by the way, * corrupt.

Its going to get incredibly messy..

Rodgers will need all his skill to win us the league this season..

We may even need to sacrifice a fair bit to force change

Not really a surprise that nothing positive came from the meeting. Personally I expected that Nicholson and company would come up with some vague platitudes and try and go for a divide and conquer strategy with the support. Instead they have basically said there is nothing wrong, nothing to see, now go run along and be good boys and girls and give us all your money. Given the meeting was that bad I think the one positive is that we now all know without a shadow of a doubt how bad the situation is and that at this point there absolutely needs to be a stepping up of the protests IMHO in a graduated manner. For me what was the worst thing to hear about the meeting was their dismissal of the backstabbing hit piece of Rodgers. That pretty much confirms for me it was Lawwell. There can be absolutely no doubt whatsoever after tonight that Lawwell, Nicholson, McKay and Desmond are now actually hurting us as a club and that they absolutely must be removed and replaced by a board and ownership that actually has ambitions and a real plan to take the club forward on and off the field. Any doubt about those facts were if they even existed firmly removed tonight.

Without a doubt its going to be really tough for Rodgers and the team. I think that he and the players though do know this isn't about them at all this is all about the board and the clubs structure on and off the field. I know personally while I am all the way over here in the US there is little I can do. But even for me I will be doing the only thing I really can do and that is not spending another cent on Celtic merchandise until Lawwell, Nicholson, McKay and Desmond resign or are removed.
I will still 100% support the team and manager on game day but other than that I am done with Celtic until the above are gone.

If the story about Nicholson not having the autonomy to go an extra £200k for McCowan, is true..

Its no wonder we're in such a mess..

    A patsy, empty chair..

To use your phrase from earlier its plausible. I certainly believe it. Regardless tonight showed that with a shadow of doubt that Nicholson is a disaster as CEO and must resign and or be removed.

It's like they're deliberately daring fans to go down the onion bears route of surrounding vehicles and mobing entrance/exit to Parkhead. If our fans had any doubts of the contempt they're held in by this board that original Saturday statement should be pinned up at each turnstile
