As you will be aware, there is a meeting scheduled tonight with members of the Celtic board to discuss fan concerns. This meeting follows collective fan action and fan pressure. Thank you once again for your efforts so far on this front.

Meeting invites were issued by the club directly to traditional fan organisations offering them two representatives each at the meeting. Although every organisation invited to the meeting is a member of the Collective with the exception of one (North of Ireland CSCs), the Collective never received a direct invite to the meeting. Following conversations with the club, we have secured three representatives specifically for the Collective.

In order to ensure the Collective's representation is as broad and reflective of the wider support as possible, Bhoys Celtic, Celtic Trust, Green Brigade and North Curve Celtic have kindly each given up one representative to the Collective.

This means that in total, the Celtic Fans Collective will have seven representatives at this meeting in addition to those representing other fan organisations who are also members of the Collective. The seven Collective representatives are also on the Steering Group and represent a mix of CSCs and fan media.

Our goal remains clear: to secure meaningful, positive change for the betterment of Celtic Football Club and its supporters, and to get answers to the questions raised in the open letter of 3rd September.

We will provide an update to all open letter signatories as quickly as possible following tonight's meeting.

We understand the entire fan representation at the meeting is as follows, although individual organisations retain autonomy over their representation. The Collective representatives, and others, will meet prior to the meeting to plan a strategy in order that the meeting remains on track and productive.

That's a classy move by the groups giving up a spot so the Collective can get a real group in there.

Could not agree more. Well done for that one those involved. Spot on they were.

 

Even Nicholson and McKay are standing and clapping. They all need to go though and I hope they are given that message loud and clear tonight.

I don't think the silent protest works.

The contempt the board have for the fans is massive. Think there will have to be serious commercial or safety implications before they will change. With season books paid up and Europa League packages gone the chance of really hitting them hard commercially is low.
