Don't rate him like some but made us a lot more competent on the ball when he came on.

Deserves a spot in the midfield because nobody is nailing down those spaces as far as I'm concerned.

Thought he was crap, although he did add energy. The bar is incredibly low for him right now though (and the rest of our midfield).

I’d put him beside McGregor in a 4-2-3-1.

Frustrating how many stupid fouls he gives away.

He at least looked like he wanted to make things happen when he came on. Deserves a decent run of games now

He tried to put himself about but was doing it in pretty stupid, petulant ways. Do admire him taking the ball given his confidence looks shot to bits. Such a weird one with him. Id have him ahead of McGowan but that isn't a ringing endorsement.

He does at times but today I put that down to being over eager. Was literally full pelting it round the park up and down when he came on..

No chance we win that game if he doesn't get on..

Sometimes I don’t mind the fact he’s willing to leave a bit on someone. We’re a team of absolute fannies who are constantly bullied by hammer throwers, especially in the midfield. He definitely needs to rein it in a wee bit, but we need someone in there willing to make a foul if need be.

He does it constantly every game, frustrates the life out of me.. the one he pushes the boy in the back in his own area, he had nowhere to go.. dangerous free-kicks in our half too.

Still, would try him as the left '8' going forward, did well enough when he came on.. and Rodgers won't deviate from the 4-3-3

Aye he does a bit. I've said same before as well but the good outweighs the bad today and overall from him when he's on a run and confident..

If we can get him consistently in (as he should be for me and should've before) and just channelling some daft freekicks, we've got a big player in the middle..

We're so much slower, weaker, bullied and have no zip or runners when he's out..

Good pass to Balikwisha for the winner.

It’s like having Johansen back again, just running into folk for no * reason.

If he can cut that out it would help, just get the feeling he’s trying to hard to always do something whether its win the ball back or a fancy flick instead of keeping it simple.

Absolutely love that pass for the winner, about the only thing he did right but eye of the needle stuff of his weak foot.

Excellent young man. Takes 3 players out of the game with an inch perfect pass.

Technical ability never in doubt for me. He needs to play in the bank of 2 in a 4-2-3-1. Beside McGregor as we know he won’t be dropped. He will look good in there. Trust me.

I hope he gets a run. Maybe still wishful thinking but he is still the most likely player in our midfield capable of really improving to a different level.

Came in with energy and desire. Midfield for next game should be Engels-McGregor-Nygren.

We can't drop Nygren. I get what ppl are complaining about but he brings goals and assists in almost every game.

Was on a yellow too, there was a chance he could have been sent off. Seeing some of the other decisions was surprised he wasn't.
