Aye good to see him tuned in off the ball, speeding Nygren up, running down from the bench to celebrate the winner.

Also a good moany player, got tore into the ref a good few times about giving fouls against us but us not getting them.

 

He SHOULD (as in he's been robbed), have 5 goal contributions in 5 games.

 

I was just going to post the same, he has 3 goals but probably should be on about 6. Some has been down to poor finishing others has been some very good goalkeeping. If we can get him that little bit sharper he should get a good return.

 

He has really surprised me, passionate and gives his all. Never been so wrong to judge a player, he’s leading the line very well.

 

I was scunnered at the thought of us signing him, but he’s showing that he has the ability, and perhaps even more importantly, the attitude, to make a positive impact here.

He’s proving me wrong, and long may it continue.

 

Hes an upgrade on Idah anyway, based on what I have seen so far.

He takes up better positions and is a more instinctive goal scorer.

A more natural striker than Idah was.

 

Given he has hardly kicked a ball in 2 years I think hes started very well. Hopefully match sharpness will come but he gets more involved than Idah or even Kyogo in his last half year. He is scoring goals and unlucky to score more and its good to see his enthusiasm on the touchline at the weekend.

 

That cupping the ear celebration needs to be binned.

He won't miss many penalties thats for sure. His technique at taking them is exceptionally good. Its like slowmotion for him, When he kicks the ball the keeper is already on the grass in the opposite side of the goal lol

 

Guy is serving up mad amounts of humble pie. His attitude is fantastic which is the main thing, but he has the quality to go with it as well. Gonna be a pivotal player for us.

Still looks a good bit away from being at 100%, hopefully gets there soon.

All the lazy patter hasn't come to fruition thankfully.

 

I think this is just how he is though, people saying he's not 100%, still not fully fit etc or his reputation of being lazy at other clubs. I think it's cause they think this guy is 26/27/28 how is he not sharper and quicker but he's just not.

It's genuinely just because this is him fit, he's probably not going to get any quicker, fitter or last 90 minutes well. Yesterday at 70 minutes he was done in, mind that one just before he went off where we slipped the ball to him in the box and he was really stiff and legs had gone and I think he fell on his * trying to turn.

Think this is just how he is although he still makes a good impact but he will just never have pressing in him or much running about as he's just not got the legs.
