Why would you be bothered about a fan protest and applying pressure to the board when a few days ago you were on the Brendan Rodgers thread saying that he was the problem? Probably because you have absolutely no idea what you're on about. Bad times when the * you talk isn't even consistent.

Is the silent protest off? Absolutely delighted as it was a stupid call.

Bring in 300 pieces of pyro and bring a insane atmosphere with a full stadium singing Sack the board instead.

How can you keep on with this pish when it clearly worked !?

The stated aim of the protest was to symbolically replicate the silence from the board until they agreed to engagement with the proviso that the protest could be suspended at any time once the board agreed to engagement. The board have now agreed to engagement and the silent protest suspended.

What clearly worked? Not saying it didnt. Just way, way more confident that a loud fiery protest would be much more effective and it would also benefit the team with a loud atmosphere at the same time mate.

    The board wants silence.

The protest worked because the stated aim of the protest was to get the board to engage. The board have engaged. I don't see how you can't see this.

Regardless of what you thought of the protests it has obviously worked.

The board were terrified of the prospect of about 10 people turning up for the game tonight

Let's see what comes from the meeting.

So the masters have granted the people an audience.
This is at least progress given where we were, so well done the fans collective.

Stil fully expect a 'we hear you, we aren't happy either, things will improve - but it's really, really hard and you don't understand the limitations we operate under - we have to look after long term future you know'
Then we'll get a token 'you can come talk to us every 3 months - please keep supporting us, you are the lifeblood of the club blah de blah' as they pat us on the head on the way out.

Looking forward to the agenda - has to be very sharp and focussed on key issues and not distracted by trivia like fan surveys.
Good luck the collective and let's raise the roof for the players v Braga - the opposite of silence but demonstrates the value of fans more than any silence ever can.

Interesting Lawwell is staying away. He was t at the Patrick or Killie games either. Was he at Celtic Park either at the weekend?

Establishing who is in charge of transfer negotiations, who sets the budget, what are the parameters we give the manager to negotiate transfers, what actual power Tisdale has when it comes to this are vital. If this can't be established then we know the board are aware they are guilty but don't wish to take accountability.

We need a full transparent breakdown of who is responsible for what when transfer windows turn into farce.

First hint of embarrassment on the European stage and talks are called.

The cynic in me thinks they've done this to avoid a live silent protest.
We'll see what comes out of this meeting but I doubt very much there's any positives!

Embarrassing really and just reinforces the problems. Sitting on the statement from the collective for a month hoping it'd go away just shows they didn't take it seriously, then papped it when the first European home game comes around.
