I do alot of driving as part of my job and work in some really * areas.

My most hated place is Greenock. It has the most depressing atmosphere and is a total * tip. Port Glasgow for me is up there with it, an irrelevant * hole. Plenty parts of Glasgow that are miserable as well but I'm not in Glasgow quite as much. Bits of Paisley, Johnstone and Milliken Park are * holes too.

However, in terms of people there are several places in Ayrshire that need special mentioning. Union Jacks mounted in the garden and total inbred hun scum folk. Kilwinning is in a league of its own, the Pennyburn estate there would have you on the first flight out of the country. Shout outs to Dalry, Kilbirnie, Stevenston, Ardrossan, Cumnock, Drongan and Auchinleck. And a really, really special shout out to Patna to being a * hovel they would be better bulldozing. I'm sure there's plenty more I'm forgetting but they're my regular standouts.

I’ve only heard of Patna from a YouTube video but I laughed when I found out it was named after a big city in India.

Probably not the worst but I had family that used to stay in Raploch just outside of Stirling it was a dive every time I visited.

Absolutely not even the worst in Stirling.
Currently in Bannockburn, which is alright, if not a bit lacking.
But that St Ninians (other side of the town centre of Stirling) is helluva lot worse than the Raploch.

Don't get me wrong bud, Raploch is a * hole too :56: but the St Ninians área, for me, has to be the worst in/around Stirling.

I live in Dalmarnock mate. Great area but no shops, Post Office but about 1/4 mile up the road there's streets called Patna, Sorn, Troon and Irving. Taxi drivers used to call it Little Ayrshire.

Thats absolutely hilarious, didn't realise that. What a strange choice of name :56:typical old mining town thats now a neglected dump. The fact its full of huns is icing on the cake.

Patna was in the news a few years back as the bus companies cancelled buses after a certain time as they were getting attacked nearly every night

Done that all up now. Think the only reason anyone outside Stirling has heard of it was that big Mags granny that was punting gear.

The Raploch isn’t too bad at all tbh, seen some pics and footage of what it looked like years ago and some of it was like Barrowfield, burnt out cars, shuttered windows and tenements just waiting for the day etc.

It has a good community spirit though and has definitely moved in the right direction.I’ve friends there and they love it..but as with all large schemes there are still some problems.

Stirling town centre, particularly where the hostel is - the area just up the road from the train station, can be embarrassing at times with the amount of folk just openly boozing and taking drugs on the street. It’s a tourist centre and just needs some tlc and heavier policing.

Top of the town is a bit shady,* Cultenhove up St Ninians…always * floating about doing weird *…the wee flats with the balconies and the wee shopping precinct - would rather stay up there than * Fallin though.

Almost makes me want to go back to see what they've done with it. Usually for places like that it's just an endless decline and fall. Interesting that it's gone the other way especially with it not exactly being a city centre place that inevitably gets gentrified.

Always found it funny that the hardest man in Stirling was someone’s granny from The Raploch :giggle1:

I’ve noticed announcements like that elsewhere in Strathclyde recently…

Quite sad that services for decent folk are reduced to nil because of gangs of wee oxygen-thief waster *.

The police do fukall .. busy planning how to arrest pensioners for holding up Palestine flags.

When I worked in Brazil.. the police in São Paulo would have a purge every now and then… round up all the scummy wasters that made folks lives misery at night… get them in a back alley or out of the way place and beat the last drop of * out of them (or worse. :rip_1: ).

    Nobody missed the vermin.

Police don’t even turn up to do their job here… no.. buses and trains just get cut because there’s no other option.

Britain has a real scummy gutter-class of people now… (not to be confused with honest working class) … they think it’s their right do do as they please… claim every benefit going whether entitled or not..respect nobody or their property and all while thinking/believing that they deserve more/better.

A lot of places are shitholes not because they started out that way.. but because the people there don’t respect it and do nothing to make it pleasant or better… people who see this and have the ability to move .. do exactly that until the entire population is made up of people who don’t give a * and don’t think it is their responsibility to try and contribute to the upkeep and quality of life in their area.

These places get reputations the whole thing just continues or even spirals.

    Quite depressing really.

To me, since I lived there about 20-25 years ago it’s between Cumbernauld and Paisley.
Only good thing about them are the roads out.

Like all Ayrshire villages once Thatcher killed the pits there was precious little other work for anyone . Neglect and villified as not worth bothering about was the death of mining villages all over Scotland .
Their hun leanings and tradishuns are dieing out now as well .

Irvine - biggest Celtic club in Scotland (cracking night in there on rebel nights)
Tarbowton , hun shops all declined and Masonic club only the walking dead left
Auchinleck/Cumnock , still a celtic prescence and still bus,s run to home games
Drungan and new cumnock .. cesspits
Ayr , theres a mini bus leaves one of the harbour pubs now and again for hun games but just the dieing throws of whats left , they are done , Ayr belongs to the CELTIC !!

Yokers up improved no end. Langy (Langholm Street) was mental. Don't think it exists any more.
