    Weapons was alright, nothing special.

The Naked Gun, took me a while to getting round to it. Always loved Police Squad and the original Naked Gun films. The opening scene with him undercover I was worried it was going to be absolutely * but it was actually decent I thought, better than I expected. Not in the same league as the originals but enjoyable.

'One Battle After Another'. Very decent, but not utterly gripping. Was different to what I was expecting, but in a good way. Worth a watch. Leonardo DeCaprio, Sean Penn and Benicio del Toro were all very good (as you'd expect) and had great chemistry. Sometimes too many cooks can spoil the broth, but it definitely didn't here (thankfully). 7.5/10

I can highly recommend I Swear, the true story films about the life of John Davidson, MBE. It’s a funny and poignant look at the journey of his humble beginnings in Galashiels to winning an MBE for his services to helping young people with Tourette’s. It’s screening from 10th October and well worth a watch. 9/10

Can't wait to see that. Mind the programme from the 80's "John's Not Mad", when he was younger.

It's on YouTube if you've not seen it, old documentary about him. Think that's how he got known, and it highlighted * tourettes * syndrome, made people aware that it was an actual thing.
On the subject, there was another documentary years ago, where Keith Allen took a bunch of kids from Glasgow with tourettes on a bus trip to France. Funny as *, can't mind what it was called tho

Caught Stealing. Really good. It's a hard movie to describe, tbh - it's mostly a thriller, with some comedy elements woven in .Reminds me bit like No Country For Old Men, but not as good or as dark. 8/10.

Well written and great character work by Thornton, probably his best acting performance where it feels like he entirely becomes the character, not just playing the part.
