    1. Estrella Galicia - nothing comes close in terms of UK. Even better taste to it when you are in Galicia. Was my drink of choice whilst hiking the Camino Way last year so good memories with it.

    2. Delerium Tremens - a version that they had when I was in Rome was outrageous - maybe best beer I’ve ever had. Never seen it in UK

    3. Erdinger Wheat Beer - had a particular version of this at the CSC in Berlin watching us pump the Huns a few years back. Was exceptional but not seen it anywhere in UK

    4. Madri - generic in the UK context but definitely the best of the mainstream beers in my opinion

    5. Pravha - seem to always have it when I’m at that godforesaken casino in Merchant City at 3am after a home game and been out all day.

You need to try the top two if you can get Swedish beer in scotland. Something else. The 3rd you wont be able to get

Nothing beats Czech for me although Serb and German beers come close.. had a few in Berlin recently that were micro-brewery jobs too.. also like the real Sapporo but don’t see the point if it’s not made there.

    Right now..

    Staropramen
    Budvar
    Pilsner Urquell
Brooklyn Pilsner (more like IPA to me)
Neck oil IPA - goes down way too easy.

I’ve had it somewhere recently… can’t remember where though. Probably in Leeds.

Seen it in shops in cans there too.

Dissing Tennents is beer snobbery,a nice cold pint of TL is one of the best things taken for granted in Scotland.

1.A good cold pint of Tennents
2.A nice cold pint or bottle of Heineken
    3.Murphys (McChuills)
    4.Peroni (pint or bottle)
5.Singha (bottle - especially with Indian food)

Love a cold pint of Tennents. 3 best Tennents in Glasgow. 1 Malones. 2 The Merchant. 3 Molly Malones

    1. Tennents
    2. Cruzcampo
    3. Estrella Galicia
    4. Paulener
    5. Murphys.

I've tried Murphys, Beamish & Guinness & liked them in that order

Any other pubs in Glasgow that does Murphys?
