One of those results that happen where you deserve to win but it was just one of those days.

I can't really fault the performance, just didn't score the goal that would've given us the three points.

Despite the result, I actually enjoyed the game today, which is a first this season.

It's maddening to me that people can't see past the result.

This is it exactly for me. Was it us firing on all cylinders no it wasn't but overall we played fairly well and created enough chances to win that game but it just proved to be one of those days in front of goal.

Having slept on it and reflected back, I get that we are going to have games like these. We do tend to get a few of them every season. Hopefully this was just one of them games.

We weren't brilliant, but yet again poor refereeing was a contributory factor. Hibs wasted time almost from the kick off, and their players should be ashamed of themselves rolling around the pitch every few minutes. How is it possible to have 75% posseion and to have a foul count of 16-1 against us. Robertson was on a mission, and he succeeded, helped by our poor finishing.

Hibs point of view if your board member sanctioned good money hibs wise on a keeper I’d be asking questions of manager …. That keeper was really good yesterday and kept them in the game rewind to the European qualifiers and grey stuck behind a calamity goalkeeper who effectively cost them in games

I thought it was a good performance as well, not superb like we should have won 5-0 and were flying but if we were playing like that all season we'd probably have scored double the goals we have and be in the CL and nobody would be too bothered.

It's a game 9 times out of 10 we'd have won usually and the first real performance of the season where we looked like scoring/winning and actually played with tempo and movement.

So I can't complain we just need to see more of it consistently.

I take it Engels and McCowan didn't make the most of their srarts..

Honestly, despite the overwhelming negativity towards Engels on here, he was fine. The midfield 3 of McGregor, Engels and McCowan had the best first half of any Celtic midfield this season. Passing was faster and more direct. Sure they misplaced passes and got things wrong but you'd think Engels and McCowan were rank rotten if you just read the comments on here. We struggled after making the substitutions.

McCowan was actually very good, possibly our best player. Contributed far more in this one game than Hatate has all season.

    No for me mate..

Engels looks to me like a guy that won't be here for too much longer. That drive he had from last season and a bit of swagger at times is totally gone..

You'd be hoping without midfield no functioning yet that a guy like him could waltz in and grab one of the jerseys. He hasn't i wouldn't say, as much as I want to persist with him as he's got the athleticism and dead balls, he has to offer way more. Should be dominating games like that at home..

McCowan was ok for me. Again, never really go * me he's nailed a starting role whenever he is on from the off. Just looks a better impact player off the bench..

A game we absolutely should've won by a couple and weren't bad..

Just lacking some quality and have no depth or game changers off the bench..

The balance isn't right in the midfield, has been an issue for months now.

Cheers mate and Maeda ineffective on the right?

    Deffo..

Aye he isn't a right winger for me, although think the big Iheanacho one was him off the bar. Would rather switch Tounekti..

First half played well, possibly as well as we have this season. Couple of misses that should have been goals. Thought midfield looked a bit better with McCowan and McGregor was more combative. Second half started fine but tailed off and Robertson kept on stopping the game which didn't help. Subs didn't make any real difference other than Kenny likely should have scored. Hibs offered very little. Really we should have won by at least 2.

Engels no. McCowan I thought was good but there seems to be mixed opinions.

Engels was poor on the ball but we totally dominated them in midfield

Thats what Robertson does, he thinks he's being subtle.. but tries everything to kill our momentum.

Couple of really blatant ones in there with the "subtle" ones.
