Only acceptable outcome is a commanding win.

Hopefully see a few positive changes in the team.
Kel needs to start. Done well handling his time so far but need him up to top speed asap
I'd like to see tounekti on the right but think forrest will start with tounekti on the left.
Midfield is where the changes need to happen but only 1 will and I see hatate being benched with engels stepping in.

KT played 90+ and another 80+ there so I'd maybe start Saracchi

    Kasper
    Donovan, ccv, scales, KT
    Engels, McGregor
    Tounekti, nygren, Balikwisha
    Ihaenacho

I know that's unlikely, but I'd like us to go for that
Chances are Nygren is brought back a bit as a central mid, Hatate plays next to him and we persist with CalMac playing too deep. Both Nygren and Hatate then get caught trying to do the same role, but neither excelling in what they both could be doing - supporting the striker/attack and having CalMac a few yards up to play the tempo of the game.

I'd try tounekti out right to see what Balikwisha can do for a game on the left. We need to try sort something to find a sense of balance and speed/energy in the wide areas and thus the attack.
Ihaenacho needs a start to see how he gets on.

Backline, when is Trusty due back? I'd have him over Scales but if he's not ready yet, that's fine.
Was tempted for Sarrachi over KT, but not sure this is a game we want too many trials happening.

Harsh on Scales, he fully deserves his place, been our best player this season.

I think 4-2-3-1 would work well for the balance of the midfield, but Rodgers isn't changing it up. Best we can hope for is a freshen up of personnel in the midfield.

Definitely harsh on Scales as I thought he was very good midweek apart from a few poor passes which is an area he has to improve on.

I would say all those changes you mentioned are quite likely with Sarrachi, Engels and Iheanacho coming in from the start. Only Rodgers will know where Maeda is at but maybe he can move over to the right to allow Iheanacho the start in the 9.

I could see Ralston starting if it is felt 3 games in a week is too much right now for Donovan but if Donovan is fine he should play. Engles in for Hatate for me anyway.

Maybe give Maeda a run on the right and see if that works.

Need someone with more energy and dig to cover Bowie and I'd rather go with McGowan than Engles as Engles is so powder puff for a big guy

100% an area he could improve on but the lack of movement in front of him doesn’t help. In particular McGregor who should be finding space and demanding the ball, often hides behind his marker.
