[Spoiler Alert] Sopranos

The actor Jerry Adler who played ‘Hesh’ in The Sopranos has passed away at 96.

RIP.

 

Great show, though I thought Love/Hate was better.

I have the Sopranos box set. I need to revisit it at some stage as it's been about 15 years since I last watched it. I never really paid too much attention to it when it first aired here in the UK (circa 1999?) ... started taking an interest in it around 2008/09.

It's a solid show, but I felt it peaked around Seasons 4 & 5. Man, nearly every episode from those two seasons was feature film quality. Dark as *, too, especially S4. The writing and acting was amazing in those two seasons in particular. Though Gandolfini was perfect for the role and was almost born to play Tony Soprano, I felt Tom Sizemore would have been even better as Big T (both great actors who are sadly no longer with us).

 

We would have a prequel season show if chase wasn’t such a baw bag if you watch that recent
Docu series can tell he’s as much a narcissist like his mother was or that he says was meant to have treated writers like * a few actors since think he did the dirty on gandolfini by airing certain things that were not known to public

And you see how he * up the movie how can a perfectly written show become a
Badly written movie where things done in the show didn’t matter in the movie like he retconned a few things timeline wise ….. me personally I think Terence winter should take more credit along with gandolfini in how good the show was over David chase
