3 goal contributions in less than a game and a half worth of football.

Cannae grumble. Imagine when he's actually fully fit.

That's the thing mate I really hope he does get fit and we get the best out of him. When he was first linked I was actually quite positive about it, not knowing he'd struggled with his fitness after he left Leicester.

Board should get no credit for it though. I assume this was 90% Rodgers using his previous with him to get him through the door as a last minute signing to temper the fans a little. If so then fair * to Brendan.

The one where he tried to * it over the keeper wouldn’t have counted anyway as it hit his arm to control it, the first chance if you’re being harsh he should’ve buried it but it was a great save. Took his goal brilliantly and overall I thought he was excellent. Once he’s fully fit he’s going to be a player for us I think. What a difference he’s made already.

The first chance he missed would’ve been offside I think with Nygren and the attempted * would’ve been handball.

His touch and finish was top class.

I really like him. The process in signing him was wrong, but I like him as a player.

Having a striker that can hold the ball up is great to see.

He's obviously a guy that wants to be "loved" as cliche as it is.

Top finish. I still hate the way this came about but we all said we wouldn't hold it against him personally. You can't.

Mental that he's already 3 contributions ahead of the Huns £10m striker and all we had to do was give him 20k a week and a lifetime gift card for Blue Lagoon.

No bad for a 65 year old

Our fans are also a bit brainwashed with the "running about daft" stuff now. Seen * saying it to justify to themselves that Dolberg wouldn't have suited us:blahblah1

Edouard appeared a bit lazy compared to Kyogo but as a footballer he was a far better player.

It's great to have a pressing striker but there's other ways too. Need the baw to score and he keeps it, something Maeda and Kyogo don't really have.

Looks like we might've actually had a very decent transfer window.

A month too late and a RW short but big Kel, Nygren, Tounekti, KT look like they'll all be valuable additions.

So happy to be wrong on this one, his touch and movement is what we’ve missed since Kyogo was last in form. Brendan will definitely get the best out of him and his style suits our play to a tee. Just need a song for him now.

Proving the doubters wrong and that’s including myself.

deadly finish and when he is full match fitness and sharpness he’s going to get us goals and assists with his link up play.

What's that, 2 goals and 1 assist in 115 minutes now? Some signing :50:

He was a fantastic striker for City and Leicester and ended up getting limited to none game time for a couple of seasons. We have a truly good striker on our hands.

This is no honeymoon luck. This is a quality football player and as some have said, look at what a good confident football player at a mature age can bring to the club. Who would have guessed.

He shows you what you can get if you go for that experienced head that a lot of teams in our position have been doing for years but we seem to shy away from. He's played at the highest level and you can see he has that extra bit of quality about him.

Mentioned it in match thread but ive got big hopes that a front the three of Jota Iheanacho Tounekti could be something wonderful

The * penny pinched and when they got lucky bringing him in the last second, they gave him a 1 year contract in order to penny pinch.

They just can't seem to get anything right. Some * could literally sign him on a pre contract soon if he continues like this.

    Useless scumbags

There would have been (even more of) a meltdown if we’d given him a longer contract. There’s an option of a second year, but not sure if there’s any automatic triggers built in.

If he enjoys his time here, he’s likely to want to stay. He’s had his stints down south and abroad and it seems he wants a “home” that he’s idolised at and can win trophies. The biggest danger is he’s clearly very close with Rodgers, who will be off in the summer.

On another night he would have had an away hat trick in Europe. I do think he should have scored the first one but it was a great save and the second one he does everything right and is unlucky it hits the keeper on the head, 9 times out of 10 that goes past him into the net.

Given he is still finding his fitness, you can see what a contribution he can make. I am hoping he is the type of player that needs that arm round the shoulder and then given the chance to be a main man and that brings the best out in him.
