Scored for Norway tonight. Intrigued to see how he does against the Huns.

Think I might have seen his name mentioned elsewhere but Besfort Zeneli looks like a guy with a big future. Another left winger but I think him or Tounekti on the right would be fine if we had the other on the left. Only 22, great feet, looks to have a good end product. He is under contract until 2028 so he likely won't be cheap but the money is there and it should be spent. If we can get him for a fee in the region of what we paid for Tounekti I think it would be a great bit of business.

There is clearly lots of quality in the Scandanavian leagues right now. There is value to be had and we just have to realise the market has changed and the £5m on unheralded players in the early 20s age bracket that are showing a lot of potential is something we should be willing to pull the trigger on a lot more now. I see Gulliksen who was mentioned before on here joined Rapid Vienna for €4m - that was one that got away as was Boving who joined Mainz from Graz for a similar fee.

Another guy who has probably been mentioned here before is Otto Rosengren. Central midfielder who I think could prosper as a 6 for us, not really the destroyer type but he seems really composed on the ball, comfortable taking the ball under pressure and with his back to goal - things McGregor does not want to do. He's probably more naturally an 8 but I just think he would do a far better job at 6 than McGregor. He looks to be a complete midfiedler.

We should be willing to loosen the purse strings for guys like these and not be afraid on spending a combined £15m~ on the two of them if that is what it takes.

There is a fair chance that we could be getting £20m+ in January for Maeda, Yang and others so there is no reason why we shouldn't be spending £30m in that window on 4 of 5 first team quality players. We are looking for reform in the board and the way we are ran and that's a reasonable expectation for them to show us they mean business and show the manager that they really want him here long term.

not necessarily meaning braga but one thing I want us to do this season is buy up the best of the rest in this league when summer comes. Bayern-esque. Any players from now til then that stand out above the rest…buy them. We are gonna have such a huge rebuild next summer and any player we know can handle the league and not need to settle in will be hugely beneficial to us

We certainly need to be snap up the best Scottish trained players. We are down a player in our CL squad this season as we can't fill our quota. McGregor and Forrest are now both in their 30s. For me its the only reason Forrest is still at the club. If Bowie proves himself over a season at Hibs, he'd tick the box perfectly as a backup/alternate striker - I'd be hoping for a more proven player to come in as 1st choice but he'd certainly be a good option to fill the minutes Idah was getting here (providing he does the business at Hibs this season).

I don’t think Bowie would count as home grown as he left Raith at 16 to sign for Fulham and spent most of his youth in the English system. So despite being Scottish he would actually count as league trained down there.

I'd be going for Bodo or Slavia Pragues. Need to think outside the box.

Sadly Brugge is probably a downgrade atm for anyone. Player and coach

I thought Bowie was very poor against Rangers yesterday and I'm not sure he'd be all that suited to us. There's no doubting he's got some great attributes, he works hard, he's very powerful, good in the air and uses his body well etc and is decent technically but he seems obsessed to the point of being distracted by trying to turn everything in a physical battle with the centre half. He gets too involved with the centre half that at times he is not contributing in the areas he should be.

This window was definitely too early for us to make a move for him, he hasn't shown anything on a consistent basis yet. If he does the business at Hibs this season then we should be making the enquiries of him for next season. I don't think there is much chance he will going from Hibs straight to the EPL or signing for any of the top teams in Germany, Italy, Spain etc - if he wants to come to Celtic we can afford him then.
