You don't get time here, he needs to show something and he doesn't look quick.
Palma looks like a much better footballer and he has been sent on loan twice because of his lack of pace.

I hope he proves me wrong.

I was just wondering the same thing. If it was anyone good, Lawwell would have secretly briefed the Sun about it by now.

Khun was fast and still beat players though.

He got 6 months from Christmas and then after pre season was on fire for 6 months.

The majority of fans didnt want him and he has some of the worst highlight videos for a winger you'll see.

I'd love him to prove me wrong but I'm not very optimistic about it.

I think the majority of us can spot a good player when we see one and, even though it's early days, I just don't see it in him. I'm still waiting on Engels to show us if he has it or not and, unfortunately, I think we will have the same wait with Balikskwala if his first few games are anything to go by. Hope I'm wrong but.....

    :56:.

Thrown in v The Huns, everyone was pish, then Killie away played on the right out of position..

A wee bit of patience is required after what about 120mins of action for us.. :56:

Players get patience when things are going well and they come into a good squad.

Our squad was crying out for pace and creativity,
    Hes been the complete opposite.

Hes also one of the players we've actually spent good money on.

Two games in, Rangers away and Killie on a * pitch, and they are writing Balikwisha off already.

You gotta laugh at some people on here. :giggle1:

Nice to know we can replace the players that stay at the club but not the ones that actually leave

    What’s your point?

Why would a player not get patience when he’s just joined, the team is so disjointed, he’s played out of position one game and both games have been two of the toughest away trips you can get?

So, he doesn't deserve patience because we had a shambolic window?

    That's nonsense.

My fear with this guy is that he is a symptom of our dysfunctional recruitment over the Summer. I got the feeling he was a player that we would fall back on if we couldnt find any better option.

Why did we sign him when we did? We waited until after the champions league qualifier. Strange. It couldnt have been that the player was waiting to see if we qualified - because he joined even though we went out. It wasnt really the fee - as we paid pretty much what his asking price was.

We tracked the guy or had been linked with him for an age so why wait until late in the window after the season had started and we had already paid the price in going out of the Champions League? If he was a player the club really wanted, he was available at 4.5M and we had scouted him for a significant period of time then it doesnt make really make sense why he arrived when he did.

It feels a bit like they couldnt find a better option and were feeling the heat after we had bombed out of the champions league. So they pulled the trigger on a deal that was more of a fall back option.

Having said that - 2 games is far too early to give up on him. Especially as hes coming into a team that's stuttering and an environment thats not exactly buzzing. Hardly any of our players are pulling up trees at the moment.

Everybody was bad in the 0-0 game at Ibrox, to single out Balikwisha for special mention is a bit of a * take, he was alright in what was a fiery baptism at Ibrox. The Killie game was on a plastic pitch and * down with rain, nobody was really good in that game either for us, Balikwisha was stuck out on the right wing with no service at all, totally stranded, a * take to criticise him again imo. All our play on that day went down the left wing with Tounekti, who was very impressive and he has played on plastic pitches many times before, so he was well used to them. Let's see how Balikwisha gets on at Parkhead before a packed stadium, and at some other good atmospheric grounds around the country, before attempting to run a rule over him.

Kuhn got six months grace, before we decided he was a baller.

A bit of perspective and patience needed.
