Fingerprints we're used as completely definitive proof at one point....now its DNA.......fingerprints are still uses as evidence, just not definitive proof. Two people in Uruguay or Mozambique may have a near to identical fingerprint as you. But it's unlikely that either of those two were in Springburn when the bookies got robbed. So the suspects get narrowed down fairly easily.

It's the same with a Polygraph Test (a lie detector test). Proven to be only 96% accurate. Good enough for Jeremy Kyle to shout "You dirty little Liar!!!" at well over 100 folk without considering 4 are telling the truth. But not good enough to be definitive proof in court. Can't be used to convict you on its own that means. You can offer to do one and use it as part of your defence. But again not definitive proof of your innocence.

Luke Mitchell has passed 2 seperate Polygraph Tests....so a 96% accuracy rate would mean - 192 says he's telling the truth...8 that he's lying. 192-8. Im not a mathematician but something tells me the chance of a test thats 96% accurate being wrong twice in a row like that would also be very unlikely.....on top of the 192-8

And he's done 20 odd year in jail..

    Just putting that out there....

    Global warming is absolutely class.

The amount of sweat I generated today lying on my lounger here in the UK was similar
    To the Caribbean.

Its more like 70% at most and even then that's only if you have a well trained and experienced examiner and the questions are all asked in a very specific order, not to mention their are plenty of ways trained people know how to fool a Polygraph, I took them when I got Security Clearance in the Army and in my current job I have overseen people giving Polygraph tests to potential Employees and its being phased out because its considered unreliable

I've also said this. People don't like you saying this. Your not supposed to say it.

But it's true. In Scotland. At least just now. So far I'm loving Global Warming.

Why must we always think about other countries thousands of miles away where it's impacts are negative? Why can we not just think about us for a bit?
Do you think many people in South East Asia for example care, or even know about any Scottish current affairs? They don't give a *. And they've not got t.v ads trying to guilt them into £2 a month for poor kids in Glasgow

And also. What are we supposed to do to stop Global warming? We can't.
So surely if it's having any positive effects then that's a good thing

    Global warming happens naturally.
So will the next Ice Age.
    It's a cycle.

During the next Ice Age some folk in the Saharan countries will be loving that it's cooling down a bit. Will people make them feel guilty for liking it?

I did not learn this today....but fairly recently...

I did not know until fairly recently that holding yourself hostage is not only illegal. But quite a serious crime.
This poses many questions. Like - what are your demands? And how will you release the hostage if they give in to your demands?

Not only that....but if you plead 'Not Guilty' then there would have to be a trial. The victim would have to appear and take the stand. Well if you are the victim then you could deny the accused took you hostage in court. Deny you've ever even seen the accused before. Then surely you, as the accused must walk away with an innocent verdict.

What if you, as the accused, got found guilty? Could you, as the victim, then claim Criminal Damages?

What happens if the accused and the victim have the same lawyer? Then the case can't go ahead. What if there are bail conditions preventing any contact between the accused and the victim? So many questions. Even more if you choose to represent yourself

A lot of people are a bit horrible and don’t bat an eyelid if someone is obviously hurt or suffering - just assume they’re junkies as if that’s a sin which it is maybe but not biblical…so many people just walk by folk who are maybe even dead lying underneath a sleeping bag for hours and no one does anything.

There’s no compassion these days people have lost their soul if that’s even a thing.
